A single tweet from a single fan would not achieve much, but yeah I guess I can do that too.

I'm anyone's with tesco for stopping selling their own brand frozen mushroom risotto but I don't stand in isle 27 booing I go to customer service and put a note in the box saying how disappointed I am yerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr little wankersSorry, but I don't boo our own players.
If you don't agree with NA's selections then let NA know. What purpose does it serve having a go at Hammond because NA picked him?
Never understood booing.
Verbally ranting is entirely different, and actually a lot more satisfying.
The day the loudest fans pick the team, is the day we start an even worse downward spiral.
Boo at half time/ full time to show your displeasure of the team... If that's your thing
To be honest I never boo our players. I will swear to myself (and swear under my breath if there are kids nearby). Booing any players is completely counterproductive.
Always thought that selective booing should be left to the experts, I mean what happens if some other undeserving recipient receives the boo full blast and thinks it was aimed at him eh, he's going to lay awake all night wondering what he's done wrong poor sod.
No, I believed a boo in the wrong hands is too dangerous weapon to be used by all and sundry without proper supervision, and most of the people I've seen booing definitely supervision......
Now foot stamping is a different animal all together, I am into that........![]()

for now.. this now is getting shorter by every game for most people i suspect. Adkins has made some strange decisions and they are all mounting up. personally i am sick of his positive attitude. let me explain. it is ok to protect the players and all that by emphasising the positives but now it is getting so bad it sounds like he is taking the piss out of the fansI trust Adkins' judgement and Hammond's experience - for now.
I'm not sure what Hammond brings to the party. I haven't been able to watch the full match on BP yet - says there is a problem when I try - from the highlights he gets a foot in to set JCR up early doors - leading to Baxter's header; then he misses a sitter from Harris' cross (good that he got there though - Coutts wouldn't have); cocks up a tackle to let Walsall through for a shot; is ambling marking fresh air when they break on the left and hit the bar; gets up to provide JCR an outlet when he fights to regain possession high up in their half- leading to the Freeman backheel and Adams shot; loses Sawyers and allows the cross in which led to the goal (don't know who Basham was marking in the middle mind you); delivers a fine ball to set up what should have been the Adams penalty. All in all some good, some bad and still early days. Don't know how he played in the Premiership and Championship though - not seen anything of that level from him.
A fair assessment, though for the header the ball.was behind him.
At the moment he's an improvement on say Doyle but given the reputation, expense, and tbf *achievements*, it might be reasonable to expect (a lot) more, and more consistently.
Early days. I can't see Adkins or Hammond(?) being sentimental if there's not been a noticeable improvement by January.
His main crime in the eyes of the haters and the miserati seems to be that he's not single-handedly winning games for us.

You don't want him in the team. Other people disagree.
Fwiw I've just watched the extended highlights on BP and he looks a lot better on that.
The pass through to Adams is really top class. Besides that a couple of blocks followed with decent passes. Covering runs and recovery runs. Closing options down. I think he might be best as a partner of a dynamic energetic midfielder who occasionally gets caught upfield - but we haven't got one, yet.
Maybe his best work really is all done off the ball. (On the highlights it's noticeable how many times he's standing in front of the player with the ball cutting off direct options and making them go sideways.)
Adkins suggests that the data will support this. I imagine he's right.

I don't see how booing the whole team would get the point across?
I must admit that I was surprised at the abuse he got on Saturday because I didn't think he was as bad as that. I actually decided to keep a close eye on him during the game to see if Adkins was right in his ongoing assessment of him or whether he was just blowing smoke up our arse's, and I've got to say that his work rate was excellent and he made a number of good challenges and blocks. Don't get me wrong, his distribution is not great so when he has the ball (which is when most people in reality notice him) he can look very poor but I'm beginning to think that he brings more than we think (certainly more than I thought before I "really" watched him on saturday). Maybe we (I) expected a different type of player because of all the hype who might be game changing (I hate that phrase) so have been more disappointed than normal and have therefore singled him out as the cause of everything that we do wrong . What is noticeable is that many of the comments, both on here and at the games, reflect a lot of what we use to say about Doyle, and I for one think we really miss him.
Absolute cobblers ,if you don't think weve missed Doyle ,you must be mad. Doyle was shit when he had a bad partner ,when Macdonald was here and Wallace or anyone decent has played he was excellent ,Look at our win lose record when Doyle has played for Utd ,it stands up to anyones. Just to rub salt in ,Hammond earns around 4 or 5 times as much ,as Doyle ,or anyone else in the squad apart from Sharp.Maybe Doyle was the player Shields was talking about recently. When he was here, he was fucking shit for three seasons, worse than Monty, awful captain, terrible player. Then he did a cockney walk and was OK, then he left and he's now Roy Keane.
Perhaps when Hammond's gone back to Leicester and we've replaced him with young and hungry Barry Gammon from Elgin City we'll be reading posts about how good he was and we 'should of kept him'.
Maybe we should have more faith in Adkins, his managerial portfolio suggests he,s no yes man and knows what he's doing.I must admit that I was surprised at the abuse he got on Saturday because I didn't think he was as bad as that. Where did I say we haven't missed him. I've spent a lot of time defending Doyle but if you're saying he didn't get pelters on here, on other MBs and from supporters at games then you're the one talking absolute cobblers.Absolute cobblers ,if you don't think weve missed Doyle ,you must be mad. Very profoundThe day the loudest fans pick the team, is the day we start an even worse downward spiral.
I know it probably comes across as me having a go at Hammond all the time (I have done tbf) but do we really pay upwards of 10k a week just 'to put a shift in'? Surely it's a basic requirement to offer a bit more than that. To me he offers zero going forward and based on some of the goals we've shipped recently little defensively. Nick Montgomery ran around like a headless chicken for all those years and was derided by many on here but Hammond makes him look like a total footballer.
To put it bluntly we should be expecting MUCH more for someone we're paying so much for. We could've feasibly had two or three players with something to prove for similar wages.
Reading it back, I can see it looks like I was saying I thought Doyle was shit. Should have put those comments in quote marks.Where did I say we haven't missed him. Yep, I agree with some of that 'fatty' but what about his 'non tackle' for their goal - it was an abysmal attempt at a block. If it had been poor old Collins (who incidentally had a very good game Saturday) folk on here would have had him hung up by his balls. You don't want him in the team. Other people disagree.

Tbf, Neuer would be decent going forward in L1. He's pretty good with his feet.Manuel Neuer would offer very little going forward.
It depends what his job is.
If it's running round preventing things happening like a measles vaccine on legs then it's not reasonable to expect much going forwards - and this was reflected in Roygbiv's View From.
But he was captain of at least one promotion winning team so either he's crap and this forum is full of tactical geniuses, or we might be missing something.
Might be his job is stopping the opposition and letting others play.
Sounds like a few people are disappointed we didn't sign Pirlo. We might have Makelele instead.
Or we might not.
His and Adkins' credentials say look closely and give him time.
