Admits both millwall goals should not have been allowed. Oh well season evens itself out apparently.

For me he was as bad for them as he was for us, but they were more physical than us so overall it worked to their advantage.

We may have had one huge slice of luck when the challenge on Hammond didn't break his leg. Not seen it since but at the time it looked horrendous.

Either luck evens itself out or there's a Cosmic Conspiracy against the Blades.

And has been rewarded with a League 2 game (albeit a big one) in Notts County V Portsmouth this weekend.

He's gone from Championship to League 2 in 2 matches. At least it's not a London team this time.

I'm going for the latter.

Why should the poor gets in League 2 have to put up with this clown?
If I was consistently bad at my job I'd have got the boot by now.

What was wrong with their second goal?

I think there was a clear foul (on Done?), advantage was played but instead of it returning to us they ended up getting the free kick.

After that we put together the worst sequence of defending all season.

Shaky on the details but I think it's what happens before the free kick, not after - that was all down to us.

That was the first goal. The second one, Freeman was fouled just before he gave a free kick the other way.

The first goal also had the shirt pull on Collins. It was one where their player grabs a real handful and in plain sight.

Their player then heads it on off the underside of the bar while looking in totally the opposite direction.

I'm looking forward to the bit of luck that evens out that particular goal. :-)

I wish there was as much time spent on analysing our one shot on goal and the 50/50 tackles we lost. Everybody gets an iffy referee during the season, did we do enough to get a better result, I would say not.

You were obviously not there. That one was more than iffy. It was one shot on target btw. Six shots at goal (including one that hit the post).

There's no doubt there were fouls building up to both goals. The issue I had is Millwall knew they could get away with a lot and played that to their advantage while we played like a bunch of brittle girls looking for the referee to help us out.
As JCR said in his interview its 'time to toughen up' or stay in this league (I said the last bit not JCR)

"Everybody gets an iffy referee during the season"

Indeed they do ...... regrettably, we haven't had one decent one in the League yet .....

What was wrong with their second goal?

Freeman was flattened after the ball, which the ref ignored seconds before giving them a free kick for a bit of a pull from Sharp. The free kick started the move down field.
