It's bad enough sitting next to a complete tool at the match, listening to him waffle on about how the team shouldn't be passing the ball around like they do, and how Howard shouldn't roll the ball out (just as he rolls it out to JCR who then runs all the way down right wing and delivers a cross). But reading some of the twaddle on here is painful right now.

Yes, I know a forum is a place to air our views, and that's good, but really the bickering between the clappers and the knockers is getting silly. It seems impossible sometimes to keep up with the crux of a debate while a couple of posters pull each other's opinions to pieces.

Just, fucking, aaarrrggghhhh......

Your right, I hope some take this ans Sitters comment on board.

Yep, starting to drift away, shame really although some of the topics in General or Entertainment chat are worth revisiting.

I know what you mean. Just been reading another thread where a couple of forum members are nitpicking on points of grammar, resulting in the thread being hijacked - all very petty and distracting.

That's me. Didn't know I were speaking to you all that time.

Ignore anyone who hasn't got anything constructive to say.

A proportion of fans and posters use the team and this forum for therapy, screaming endless, aimless abuse at the world in general.

Then there are those who just moan relentlessly and seem to thrive on the defeats and the conflict. Harder to spot but if someone almost never posts anything positive and constructive then they offer nothing to the debate.

Important to spot those who are critical but have something to offereh there was plenty of criticism of Clough and a lot of it was well placed.

Blocking/Ignoring is really just like putting a front door on your house and then checking who you let in.

I've Ignored loads of posters - possibly one or two too many - recently and the forum is generally very readable.

Agree and I'd just add that you don't even need to use the ignore button, just don't read the posts of people you can't be bothered with.

Ease yer sen sj, as Garth once said this forum is like new underpants, they are constrictive at first and do your nuts in but stick with them and things ease off (paraphrased).

Edit found a link to cheer you up

So basically what you are saying is that you ignore anybody who doesn't sing along to the same hymn sheet as you do.

Has anyone ever insinuated that you are a little bit pompous?

I don't ignor any posts, try to read them all if I can, best way to get the over all views from forum members, you can get a lot of insight from reading them, and yes you can also filter out some of the dross some put on here, but I would say 90% I read is honest and true opinions:)
