OK, in light of a post I've just read about turning 30 and still having heroes here's a tester for the "older" element (well anyone who is older than any of the squad).

Who was the last player to play for Sheffield United who was born before you?

I suspect I won't be alone in having mine as Gordon Cowans who was born October 27 1958, a couple of weeks before me.

There are a few I absolutely refuse to believe are younger than me though.

Probably Keith Edwards or Mel Eves, whoever played for us most recently.

Sorry, not Edwards, he's 6 months younger than me. I think it might be Mel Eves (19/9/56) and played for us in '86.

Richard Cresswell was the last player older than me to represent the Blades.

Cresswell for me as well, although Barry Robson is only a few weeks younger than me and I'm not sure who played most recently out of Cresswell and Robson.

Bath Blade just checked soccer and the last one of those two to play was Barry Robson, who is older then me by a whole 9 days.
