Inspired by Bergen Blade - who pointed out the number of players at fault for one of Port Vale's goals last week. Our second goal was a real team effort.
Very good interception by Collins.

The ball breaks to their player who plays it into the corner.

Done covers, their player stumbles, the ball breaks free

Freeman has time to look up and pick a pass...

...up the line to Billy who is just about to work a miracle
:
First he gets in front of his man and controls the dropping ball, but he's facing back to our goal.

Then, obscured by the arrow, he flicks it over the foot of Mendez-Laing...towards a recovering Rochdale player.

.He retains possession but there are two men on him.

He bursts forwards leaving the men behind and creates space, but there's not much on is there?

Yes there is if you can do it. He plays a fantastic crossfield diagonal ball over the Rochdale right back. Adams "still has plenty to do" but it only takes him two touches to do it.
The first touch with the outside of his right foot he cuts inside and the defender is totally out of the game.

The second touch he puts it past the oncoming goalkeeper and into the net.

A great team goal.
(The first one was pretty good too.)
