I'm not anti-academy mate. I'm pro good footballers. I'll be delighted if Diego proves he fits the description. He certainly hasn't yet. He's achieved nothing whatsoever in grown-up football. If anything's getting tedious its repeated references to what his family say and think. Who gives a fuck about a reserve striker's dad's opinion?

I want an excellent SUFC team. The players can come from Darnall or Darjeeling for me. Being local doesn't add one iota of talent to a player. No amount of wishful thinking will make a player good enough if he ain't!
