Ridiculous re: the signings situation. (Just be HONEST, Nigel. There's fuck all money till January.)

Top news re: The Beard though. Great to have him back, on top of Matty Done's return.

It is the sheiks birthday in January, don't you know.

He is hoping for some birthday money to spend on us.

Hi ho Ho, the old January card has been played
. M....E....L...T....D....O....W....N
Can't fault people for getting pissed off about this though.

So fucking predictable. From the day Murphy's sale was announced and Jim implied (or inferred, right now I couldn't give a fuck) that the money would be spent on new players posters said the transfer window will close and it will be 'we'll get some loans' then we won't and it will be 'wait til the JTW'.

And just like we didn't go for Edgar until we got twatted at Gills, no fucker at board level will stop this shit until attendances start to fall. Then it will be panic stations again, spend more than we can afford on fucking wank players and sack the manager when they don't have an immediate impact.

Round and round we go.

Could be Adkins trying to be clever so all the venom and pressure is pointed at the Board - which it will be.

Phipps will be suspending his Twitter account shortly when he hears from a section of our support.

It will turn nasty if results don't improve. Anything less than a win versus Rochdale could magnify this.

I was thinking the same thing. The heat will be turned right up if we lose to Rochdale.
But we won't. I'm sure of it. Yes.

Get Brayford on the pitch for the JPT game instead of the U-21's. Might put a few more on the gate too.

Great news that he's being considered for selection whoever he plays for

Are people actually surprised? This happens most seasons, the way the club is run is a joke.

Some are. Always. Even though they know what we all know and know it better.

How many months or POINTS away is January!?
Over the moon about the beard though!

Looking at the positives though it will be great having Done and Brayford back fit and in the side. Freeman will probably move to left back which is fine in the interim.

I'd like to see a front 3 of Done, Sharp and Sammon when all fit with Adams being rotated occasionally. I'm hoping a formation change will be on the cards soon because 442 isn't working. That front 3 would be the strongest in the league and with Adams in reserve the prospect is frighteningly good.

It will also be nice to have Cuvelier available too. Hopefully he can get a chance in the side and show us what he had at Walsall.

I won't get excited over J Wallace being back though. I've written him off.

Well if we aren't a million miles away by January...

Playing the odds again, could go either way.

As we currently are, I'd take 6th at January and 12 points off 2nd.

How sad is it saying that, honestly thought we could mount a serious challenge at winning the league this season if we'd gone about things right.

Not signing players we've needed since Pre season until January is bordering on incompetence.

Has to be issues at board level when our defence is as rank as it currently is.

What's the betting we don't strengthen in the required areas then either?

Are all those who said everything would be fine when the loan window opened getting twitchy yet?

We'll be well out of the automatic promotion race by January.

Well played to all involved in this mess.

No, just disappointed. I hoped the co-owners would do things differently, better.

I get the impression that they've bought into a failing business they know nothing about and are taking advice from the people who caused the failure.

As ever, ignore what they say, watch what they do.

If the idea was to build up the squad, someone has made a real mess of it.

Assuming that we are interested in Hammond, its hard to believe that Leicester are "reluctant to let go".

Welcome to reality at SUFC Nigel.

We must also be the only club in history who are obsessed with 'targets from the league above', so much so that we'd happily not sign anyone while we wait for them.

Rather than picking up the best talent from this league like the other teams successfully promoted from this league do.

I agree but the point may be that we can only get loans at this point in time. I doubt any other L1 club would loan anyone who is any good to us as another L1 club. The likely time for that to happen is in a transfer window for a permanent deal.

We missed the boat big time in not sorting this out in the summer window. That's the irritating mistake we keep making.

I have to start wondering what Turnbull is actually doing at the moment - we need someone to make a difference come transfer window time.

Yep and picking them up from the league above doesn't exactly guarantee success anyway does it?

Case in point Edgar and McCarthy

Out of 91 other league clubs we can't surely be stuck on Burn and Hammond so much so we aren't looking at alternatives?
