It's a shame he's injured again as I've heard from a close friend of the family that he's really knuckled down this season and is happy to bide his time. He's had some good conversations with NA who has said he'd rather him stay here than go out on loan as he sees him as one for the future and wants him to learn the NA way of playing rather than some random league 2 strugglers (if on loan).

He has been told he's behind Sharp, Sammon, Done and McNulty in the pecking order at the moment but also that if he takes his chances it won't stay that way. He was also happy when Higdon went out on loan as he was behind him as well.

Maybe he's realised he needs to work hard and impress and if he's good enough he'll get to Juve one day but in the short term doing a good job here is in his best interests.

Probably in the way I mentioned that before he thinks about European Giants Juve he might want to get a run of games for a mid table league one side. At the moment he's a way off the latter. No bias towards the lad at all, know the family and had kickabouts with him and his brothers 15 years ago as well as getting a Sunday league shoe-ing off his dad a few times.

I just don't like the comments from people who assume he's a got his head in the clouds based on 4th hand information.
