Preston would certainly have more claim than Bradford but not us for same reasons given above.

We have the history, facilities, infrastructure and support to sustain a top flight club.

That's the difference.

Poor old Swansea and Palace. The writing's on the wall for them. If only they'd been good in 1908 and had the fanbase and facilities. :tumbleweed:

Where does this 'we're better than this league' attitude come from? Is it because you won the FA Cup 90 years ago?

I thought our fans were deluded....
Woo hoo doesn't someone think they are special because their club gives 18000 cheap seats away, stick to egg chasing fella

Ironic comments from FattyFoulke.

Fatty - if Sheffield United had EVERYTHING to sustain top level football explain why lasted 1 year recently and got relegated?

Explain why Palace and Swansea have been there for longer and will be there for the foreseeable future?

Go away and read a book on the history of football. When you've educated yourself come back and we'll have a grown up discussion.

The books will also tell me Old Etonians won the FA Cup 4 times as well. Yet nobody has the slightest idea who they are and nobody has the slightest idea Sheffield United won the FA cup in between the wars and were in the top division for a long period over 100 years ago

Nice one. Old Etonians must be just below you then (google them)

In our prem year our crowds were 11th in the country , so to say we dont have tge potential to be a premier league club is just stupid

Like your good self Sir. Have you no friends of your own? Or are your really so sore about throwing away a two goal lead? Please feel free to continue your version of history as it proves the very point you try to disprove.

Let Wanderers in the Premier League they have history which nobody knows about!!

So yeah it proves nobody gives a fuck or even knows about things what happened over 100 years ago.

I wonder why a fan of Bradford feels the need to come on a Sheffield United forum ? takes all sorts I suppose

So Fatty I've researched the history books...Wanderers have won the FA Cup more than you. Is that what it was supposed to show me??

Face it lads...

PNE? To me 3rd division team.

Shef United? 2nd division team.

Shef Wed? 1st division team.

Bradford? 3rd division team

Because he's not a Bradford fan, more likely a lonely little virgin who comes on here for some interaction. We're probably the nearest thing he'll ever have to friends.

Nothing to do with winning anything. I've supported United since 88/89 season, when we were promoted from the old division 3 (league 1). Since then we been a club that regularly challenged to get it the top flight until a few years ago, so yes I must be deluded to enjoy being in league 1.
If your expectations for Bradford are mid table in league 1, then congratulations you must be overjoyed.

Despite the clearly very bored Bradford idiot fan, PNE are the fourth most successful domestic club in league history. Your reasoning is flawed and nonsensical. You don't need support to sustain anything, you need money. ditto to infrastructure and facilities. All down to money. Size means very little.

No one cares how many cups you won or whether you were in top division with Grimsby over 100 years ago. To me and any football fan under the age of 90 you are a Division 2 team with a few seasons in the Prem and back down again for 30 years

You care about how many cups we've won, clearly. You cared enough to sign up to our forum to tell us so. Further proof of our superior importance.

Thankyou for confirming it.

Tell me Fatty and co.

A non league team draws Coventry City or Pompey in the cup, what would the reaction be??

'Oh, great draw, remember Coventry winning the Cup in 87, one of the best finals, spent ages in the top division too.'

'Pompey! They were in the top division not too long ago for a long time and won the FA Cup and got to another final! Didn't they play in Europe against AC Milan too?!'

Or Sheffield United...

'Ohhh, ehhh, well they were in the top division for a long time and won the FA Cup when my great grandad was alive...anyone remember it lads?...'

No one cares about 100 years ago. Sorry to break it to you

Except for you........

Because we're a comparatively huge club and jealousy has brought you here to tell us otherwise.
