......... we were playing a side beaten 5 (FIVE) times this season by L1 teams.They had more shots, more shots on target and they looked like the promotion favourites and even looked the better side with 10 men. Until tonight their greatest achievement was runners up in the village Morris Dancing finals FFS.

For our part we might have won 4 on the trot but tbh apart from Swindon we have never looked in command struggling to overcome the likes of chezzy and Blackpool. We looked so static in formation, we never closed players down, we left wingers with 20-30 yards of space and had it not been for three saves from Howard we would have been totally humiliated.

And to top it all their kit looked better than ours!

Please please someone tell me we are not in for another season fighting for a playoff spot only to be denied at Wembley.
 



There's this bloke who's emigrated to Spain,,,,,,,, he might be able to help.
 
I said the play offs were our only hope.

Many a true word spoken in jest . They do not have the play offs any more , were we could be heading , if the board does not help Adkins , and we just bite the bulit and cancel some contracts.

We do need a boat load of loan players , the maximum number we can play in any one game.

That is our problem - has been for 5 years.

A succession of managers - Wilson/Clough and now Adkins seem incapable of seeing HOW THIS DIVISION PLAYS.

Teams CLOSE DOWN and we are SHIT and CRAP at being able to combat it.

Our players must be stupid or incapable of learning or are just not taught on the training field how to play against such teams.

Unless we learn how to COMPETE - then we will stay forever in this league.

Football is simple - Chezzer, Bury & Colchester have shown our so called good manager how this league plays - is he clever enough to solve the problem.

I am so cross after the last 2 performances - Bury and Colchester FFS..........but well done to both teams - it is so EASY to play against us on our own pitch - teams have now had 4+ years practice.

The entertisnment factor is aloft higher than last season. We don't play for draws and we attack more in positive fashion but it makes for an open game with chances at both ends. Under Clough matches were cagey like watching a game of chess.

We have some very influential players out for the pass 2 matches.
Brayford, Done and Che Adams would improve the team.

There's still a long way to go. We have money in the bank to strengthen.

Adkins talks a good game and I prefer to listen to him compared to Clough.
I still optimistic we'll finish top 2, mainly because I dont see any outstanding teams in this league.

I'll believe that when I see it. That team's existence would involve spending money and players actually being fit early. I have little faith in either coming to pass.

Now I look again in fact I see it's an impossibility. James "it's just a series of unrelated niggles and he'll be fine with a full pre season" Wallace starting?

Ive just seen two teams who won't be any where near promotion put three goals per game past us in the last four days !
Whatever your veiws on Clough we beat Colchester 4-1 last season
Tonight was a shambles and I blame Mr Adkins !
 
Win the next 3 and we'll be top of the league.

Why the fuck is everybody losing their minds?

Glad you're not the manager if you're happy with these stats. I think we should change our alert status from 'Gillingham was a slight blip' to 'caution, team is lacking'.

I have never watched a game of chess . I admit is is a great exercise of one's mental ability. Perhaps our players would be better seated before a chess board, but I doubt it

Players sitting on their arse or lying on the treatment table are no more likely to win games than I am

There is indeed a long way to go, and the money, and interest mounts up. Perhaps some of it should be used to clear the decks, pay off Clough's dwarves and those recommended by a newsagent.


Adkins talks a good game and I prefer to listen to him compared to Clough.

I will give you that one I have the greatest respect for Mr Adkins. My Saints supporting side of the family are sure it will come right, given time.

Some are more outstanding than others. !! Does that mean any of the teams may reach the top?
 
Stats don't lie... And they key performance indicators are that we concede 1.7 goals a game and score 1.6... So we need one of those numbers needs to go down and one needs to increase to have a realistic chance of automatic.

Still positive that we can do it as long as he gets in the loans we are allegedly after.

Tic Toc Tic Toc The sooner the better
 
In 3 defeats we've conceded 10 goals and scored 3, 2 of which were penalties. They are dreadful stats and show we need some serious alterations to the whole team.
