Good win today I expected a 0-0 draw but was always going to be tough game v Swindon & I actually sounded quite an even game although we had quite a bit of fortune for 1st goal with collins falling over the shoulder of defender & heading into the ground looping into net as it couldve got anywhere

If only we done That in may we couldve been going to Wembley Although with our defending as theres a reason it finished 5-5 we would've probably still been smashed by preston :)

Wallace is not even a sub?!

What do we do if Reed(!) and Basham don't last 90 minutes.

It'll be interesting to see if Reed can play Baxter's role as analysed by Bergen. Pick it up, play it out. This should play to his strengths.

Still, looking lightweight, fragile, and underresourced in central midfield.

Could be entertaining.
Thought the same as you when I found out the line up on arriving at the ground. Glad Reed proved us wrong!

Everyone ive heard says Reed was superb today and don't forget Clough brought in the vast majority of this team ,looks like Adkins has much better man management skills.

Put it this way Sitters, I think you might just have rated his performance above anything that Baxter has produced thus far.

He did go through a bit of a frustrating spell in the first half where he kept breaking up Swindon attacks before they managed to create any real danger, but then gave the ball away again. But as others have said, he was always available and looking to push the play forwards. Him and Basham were IMHO as important as the back four in ensuring we kept a clean sheet.
