I don't think it's too un-realistic to think we could be heading into the Colchester game at Bramall Lane on the 5th of September with that line-up (or before perhaps).

Norwood maybe slightly ambitious but with Turner I notice Adkins didn't rubbish the rumours like he did when asked about Harlee Dean. You can hear a 'you never know' and a certain 'he's a Norwich player' in there as well, two statements of a similar template to his preferred choice of words during the Billy Sharp pursuit I seem to recall. Which can only be a promising sign. Hopefully anyway..

I'd rather we signed a younger CH (Ideally with a little pace) so Connor Goldson or similar would preferable instead of Turner in my opinion.

I think Norwood is completely Un realistic personally, and have no faith in the rumours. Hopefully by the 5th of September James Wallace will have proven his fitness and he will have occupied that spot.

Think there's always the danger we get carried away with rumours of really decent but ultimately unrealistic players and get disappointed when slightly lesser players come in.

See hooper and sharp.

The likes of dean, the Swindon lad, tuner and Norwood. Would obviously be brill and give us a real shot at promotion. I can't help but feel they are beyond us as a league 1 side, with championship clubs surely looking at them. I hope I'm wrong tho!

Be like a new signing if Wallace can get there [fitness], also Coutts could be an option if not sold and when fit.

Good point, there's more to come from Coutts. It's clear he has ability, maybe playing in a more ambitious and positive side will help him flourish.

You're not the real Chali 2na are you?

Because that would be ace.

Fair point as he hasn't shown much of talent yet, but he has had a handful of games (Barnsley away springs to mind) where he's given us a glimpse of what he can do.

Having seen him play for previous clubs I'm convinced he'll come good!

Wallace is one player that Adkins will have seen what he has to offer. Given the variables, avoiding injury, form etc, Wallace can bring a level of energy and hunger to our team that will be picked up by his teammates. We have a class player (at this level) in Wallace, he seems to have a bit of everything, so given time, and I mean another month perhaps, I hope we'll see a player that becomes a fixture in the first team.
