From Adkins interview already discussed - link below - but maybe worth a separate thread:
Alcock - training
Kennedy - knee - training, might play an u21s in 2 or 3 weeks
Baxter - back training, didn't comment on availability for weekend (maybe not wanting to give the opposition useful information)
JCR - hamstring - back training, lively character, "works his socks off", encourages young players
Harris - pelvic injury - broke down early pre-season, had an injection, still 4 to 6 weeks off training
Brayford - leg brace off (was that the reason for the tweet - we all got excited about)
Done - got over pelvic injury from last season (I thought we'd been told it was shins), but broken collarbone means 3 months
Coutts - knee from last year - injections and corrective rehab, "a way off", not done pre-season (which those of us who thought he could be very good said was all he needed - so next season: Look Out)
Flynn - achilles from last season, other twinges, - might join training next week, another good character
McGahey - raised by Adkins but wasn't followed up on
(Good straight questions by Jonathan Buchan.)
Looks like in training can mean anything from available to 2 or 3 weeks away.
My first thought was Harris is the main issue. McFadzean looked lost against Gillingham - though not directly responsible for any goals, Kieron Wallace has apparently done well so maybe he'll play there, but Freeman, Collins, Edgar, McEveley would at least have specialists in each position wouldn't it?
We need more players
