Whereas, sitting at the back of Sheffield United's defence ...
(fill in the rest)
pommpey
Whilst sitting at the back of United's defence is a tall Canadian International player.....
or for last seasons
Whilst sitting at the back of United's defence of 3 Full back and a Central Midfielder they still only managed to concede 23 goals less and finished 17 places above them....
so what makes him any better than what we have (if 2 make shift centre backs only concede 53 goals in a season and an actual bone fide centre back concedes 75.... surely that must make the player worse.... (what is even more concerning is he didnt even make a full season of appearences)
Taken from his wiki page
"On 11 July 2014, Nugent joined Yeovil Town on loan until 4 January 2015.[16] Nugent made his debut for the club, on 16 August 2014, making his first start, in a 2–0 loss against Gillingham.[17] Nugent scored his first Yeovil Town goal on 26 December 2014, in a 2-1 loss against Bristol City.[18] A week later, Nugent's had his loan spell at Yeovil Town extended until the end of the season.[19] Nugent was then sent-off in the 26th minutes after elbowing George Waring on 10 January 2015, in a 2-0 loss against Barnsley.[20] After serving four match ban,[21] Nugent made his first team return on 7 February 2015, making a start and playing 90 minutes, in a 2-1 win over Crawley Town.[22] However, his first team opportunities was soon limited, due to a rule on loanee[23] and was told to fight for the first team place.[24] Nugent went on to make twenty-three appearance and scoring once for the club before returning to his parent club."
so considering he only played in half of the league games he clearly wasnt doing enough in a relegated threatened side to keep his place....
think that proves beyond all doubt if you sat down the world would be a quieter place....
