Away kit

agreed, but I think that collars made in the same sort of knitted? nylon as the body of the shirt just don't work. The double thickness making them too heavy for the structure of the cloth that they are sewn onto. If u think about a pique cotton shirt like a Fred Perry, the collar is a different weave to make it work, same with a rugby shirt (body a jersey? collar a poplin reinforced with drill? not really my field) - that adidas® don't bother using a cloth appropriate to the right part of the shirt speaks volumes.

The collar will sag on the shirt and open up too much - they always do.

This is the best shirt adidas® have provided. Its a simple Tee-shirt with adidas stripes right down the sleeves - no pissing about, in fact its an example of unselfconscious design..... no one designed it, that's exactly why it looks so good.

It should be the away shirt (if it's not a proper red n white striped kit) but it won't be. You will be sold some patchwork silliness that costs twice as much..........

Ideal kit scenario for me;

Home - Red and White striped, black shorts, white socks being better design than last year with circular badge and not the shield.

Away - Lime green throughout

Sadly the club have other ideas

I'm sure the club would be delighted to find a place on the board for you and discuss your kit ideas if you were to stump up a few million quid. Until then....

Will be an article on this on Thursday about the relesase date and possible colour of the shirt. Also included the pitch and when it will be complete.

Emailed SUFC Direct to enquire whether or not the away kit will be out in time for my sons birthday next Monday. Received a reply saying it would be out "end of July/early August".
Looks like we're about to miss out on that lucrative summer holiday market once again. Somethings never change.

But no praise for the club for releasing the Home shirt back in April?

It's only the big teams that get bespoke designs. Like Arsenal's away kit...

Anyone have an update yet as to when the away kit will be launched?

About time the club gave us a clue, seeing as we are the ones expected to dig deep and invest in one

I'd like the new away shirt to be red and white stripes with black shorts and white socks please.

At least the new new home kitty attract more support from our Polish community.

We could sell them at the club Sklep

I can confirm that the away kit will have pink in it, whether that is a main colour with secondary, secondary colour with main or just a single main colour I cannot confirm. The away kit will be released the week commencing 27th. I was told that will be when the kit will be released or able to purchase. But someone else said 31st July the Friday of that week so it will definitely be released week commencing 27th July or Friday 31st that same week.

I'm actually in Poland at the moment and the guys I was talking football with last night all knew of United and were surprised when I told them we're in our 5th term in the third division..they thought we were still premier league five years ago...

This is the template for our kit. Look closely at the how the patches meet up around the bottom of the stripes and around the shoulder, also look at how the patches are around the bottom of the shirt. All they did was swap the collar and took the front from one of the pin stripe shirts.

Given that its a complete contrast to the new kit why can't we use that with black shorts and white socks?

Flippin' 'Eck SportyLingwhisker; since I was just pretending to design a gazebo and my mind wasn't on the job & prompted by your posts, I idly googled "Poland Kit 2015" thinking there was a chance that their new kit would be identical to ours, But no, HELL no, we seem to have had a røle reversal....observe;

POLAND AWAY

given we've had a Forest Away kit foisted on us, I'd snap Nike's hand off for that right now.

The home kit is merely the same shirt turned inside out to save the fans their hard won zlotis or euros or whatever - what a sensible and caring way to design an away kit :-

Speaking of the great Johann, did anyone notice that Andy Murray had done a 'Cruyff' with his unbranded Davis Cup Tracksuit top, anyone know what I'm on about?
