Away kit

I've heard after the almost universal dislike of the red shorts and white shirts as the home kit that it is being relegated to the away kit and Adidas are rushing through a more traditional new red and white striped shirt as the home kit, the 3rd choice black shorts will become first choice home shorts too but the socks will remain all red.
Hmmmm, are you sure? Would you bet your mortgage on it? Would you? Huh? Would ya.....?

Can't tell if you made that up but that would be miles better. I would much prefer that poor excuse for a home shirt as an away shirt next season and bringing back the red and white for home. Can't see them reversing it like that though.

Not a chance.

The away kit would have been much like the Juventus away kit (which would have been a dream come true for Diego) Clough apparently gave it the thumbs up but this was blocked by members of the boardroom who thought it might be a bit too gay looking to sell well in a northern city although I'm sure it would have been a hit in Brighton. Shame they are kitted out by Nike though.

Personal taste mate

Can't stand pinstripes, especially as it makes our red and white shirt look look just white from 50 paces

Don't particularly like collars on a footy shirt either

Give me that yellow away shirt I stuck up on here last week any day of the week

That is complete and utter bull! Every word of it

Since when was clough or any manager "head of design" .... You my friend are full of shite!

But it's supposed to represent the first recognizable kit, If it was red and white, it would defeat the object because the shirt they are replicating didn't have thick red and white stripes. It's only for one season, and we aren't the first club to do this.

When did I say Clough was "Head of Design" all I said was he was in favour of the pink away template having seen it others on the board were less than impressed. Ask yourself why the long delay in revealing the new away kit when other clubs released theirs weeks back.

My point is managers don't choose the kits! Like I said the away kit is bright, that was always the case

They need to announce this sooner rather than later... I for one love the anniversary home kit, and would be one of many fans angry if such a classy kit became the away kit and not just because I own one... Be it yellow, pink, green, purple or multi coloured polka dots, I'd rather that than reverse the decision on the home kit!!

They'd probably offer you a free refund or something, I wouldn't worry about it.

As much as I love our new home shirt, I think I'd rather see it as an away shirt (and definitely with black shorts). I can cope with it as the home shirt as a one off though so I'd be disappointed if they changed it now.

I wouldn't want a refund, I'd keep the shirt... The point is that I'd want to see my beloved blades playing at home in what is frankly the best looking shirt we've had since the 2007-8 season and for a long time before that...

I know managers don't choose the kit FFS they do get to see the proposed new templates from Adidas though as do others at the club. The problem is the demand last season surprised Adidas who had trouble keeping up with demand especially in XL & XXL, at this late stage finding enough shirts of a different colour to pink is proving very difficult whereas if we use the same home shirt as Brentford demand can be met so it has been proposed to do this and use the 125 kit as the away kit, it is the only solution Adidas can come up with other than keeping the last season template which the club obviously are not happy about.

It's a shame the higher management choose the kit as well. Whilst the Adidas home shirt was ok, I believe it could've been so much better

Why they can't let the fans choose from a shortlist is beyond me. After all we're only the poor fkers that's expected to buy them

Perhaps letting season ticket holders have a say in the choice of kit could be adopted?

I really hope this isn't fact

It all irrelevant . The 125 kit is the home kit and the away was never gonna be pink. But mate, keep digging your hole!

So only gay men wear pink?

Oh and there are no Northern cities with a big gay scene are there?

Open the door get on the floor, everybody walk the dinosaur.
