Hello Blades. I was very impressed with your appointment in Nigel Adkins but still not a better manager than our Tony. Sheffield United should easily finish in the autos this season if they get it right.

Also, Che Adams, is a very good friend of my son. Che was released by us at 14 and he was considering quitting football so it's a good turnaround for him. Will he play much this season?

Thanks for the support you gave us whilst we were playing at Northampton too. Both of our big clubs will hopefully be in the Championship next season.

There's a thread on Che so I'll leave you to read it. You'll see he's quite popular.

But can I ask you a question?

What's he like as a person? Is he dedicated and hard working? He's definitely talented and if he follows the example of players like Ronaldo or Kane, who are known as being ferocious trainers, he'll be hugely successful.
Is he that type?

Che looks to be a very exciting player with a really bright future ahead of him.
Like any youngster in his position, he lacks the consistency to performs and therefore, be selected week in week out, it seems.
Just the sort of lad that Adkins will promote and improve, though.
He is certainly a lad for the big occasion so we need to see this sort of explosion of form in those other tedious games in a league context.
Many fans I speak to think Che is the real deal, albeit a rough diamond, still.
Power, pace, eye for goal, takes players on and frightens them.

Wish you'd stayed at Highfield Road - proper ground and big enough for the following Coventry can realistically attract.
Problem with the out of town stadium is that it's a sod to get to and the parking is shite.
It also looks like a Tesco Extra - given there is one right next to it, there's a good comparison

Coventry seem to get forgotten about when likely promotion candidates are mentioned. Could they do a Bristol City next season, big club, decent manager, back home from the wilderness ? Should be within their capabilities.

I think Mowbray's a fairly decent manager. Bit hit and miss but plays nice football. Wouldn't be surprised if they were in the top six.

Mowbray, Pullis, Adkins and ????.

Top managers we could realistically attract, I'd have had Clough on that list but seems he can't change course.

Big Sam is better.

Palace were paying Pulis over £1m a year and Fat Sam was on a lot more.

I doubt either would come to us while we're in L1.

Excellent. Let's keep it that way. Neo-Hoofers, the pair of 'em.

Fat Sam is one of the highest paid managers in the world I think.

Yes, that might be right. He has a number of sources of income, I believe...

Spit the dog yields him approx £7.63 every summer season

Whats coventrys big lad called up front? Scored a brace against us at the lane, certainly worth looking at. Pace and power.

Dole must be good these days ,£16 a week when I left school.
Sam will be enjoying staying in his multi-million pound villa in Spain, which he called St James Park as he funded it with his Newcastle pay off. - True story.

Our lass is a boro fan so watched alot of middlesbrough games. Mowbray is utter shit. He is quiet, reserved and could never bollock a player. His tactics are 1 dimensional. He has never achieved owt at managerial level and you wont get anywhere under him.Mid table every season.Good luck, youll need it pal !
