Can't see it being either Robinson or Adkins to be honest. I sense an underwhelming appointment and after the initial furore, we'll all be resigned to give him a fair go. If we don't get off to a flyer, the knives will be out and we'll have another year of debating his qualities/flaws before we bow out in the play offs again. Its groundhog day I tell you, I just pray that I am wrong.
As I keep saying that's the old Bladey Blade way, have faith, build and they will come. Can't see it being either Robinson or Adkins to be honest. What would be worse is that it is one of the above and the rest of the post happens anyway. Can't see it being either Robinson or Adkins to be honest. First course of action would be to ask Adkins if we offered him the job he'd go back to settle with Reading. Was a bad analogy but was trying explain the difference between normal and protected contracts. Thing is you said "If we sign Adkins he'd need to settle with Reading" That's happened and he choose Gardening leave. Basically Utd would have to approach Reading with a buy out offer, because, legally his Reading contract is still seen as valid and you can't approach him directly. I do love the finer points of contracts lawpain in the arse innit

Someone just put a comment on Facebook to Jim Phipps saying "Good job on Adkins" and he replied with "let's not start unfounded rumours. Please wait for it. When we have a nailed on solution, we will let everybody know at once".
I read it as though they haven't got anyone yetDoes that means we are after Adkins then? This is absolute torture
Seems like we're sorting little miner details out.I read it as though they haven't got anyone yet![]()
