Graham Alexander IMO would be like Keith Hill at Barnsley .

Adkins would be a great shout. For starters, I've already seen him referred to as Atkins on other threads, so he can continue in the age-old tradition of misspelling the names of those at the club. Also, we already have a transferable shit nickname in place from the last manager if he doesn't play the style or personnel we want.

He can join the ranks of Michael Tongue, Matthew Kilgannon, Neil Collins and Fabian Brandy.

Although I think we should forget Atkins and make an overture towards Tony Pullis.

I think it was orchestrated , and we have someone already lined up . This scenario has not happened over night . A board meeting was held on Friday , with the agenda already written . The only person who wasn't aware of the script was Clough himself . (He wouldn't have done that stupid video if he was.)

Americans and Middle Eastern gentleman are ruthless . ( nice to your face / stab you in the back ) . Clough i feel has fallen for a three card trick .

Its a bit like going back to red Ken Robinson days , one out , all out. In this situation , i feel the board new exactly what they were doing , and lets hope they are honourable in paying Clough and Co off with there contracts.

Due to the urgency of player recruitment , ( lost all trust in Clough ) , i can see a appointment this week.

Only issue is if we are realistic we are well down the pecking order behind Derby et al unless the Prince wants to chuck money at it.

My guess it will be someone moving upwards not down. Surprised JFH hasn't figured more in rumours and betting. Think he would jump at it

I was also wondering why Nigel Adkins hasn't featured higher up on the next derby manager betting odds?
Maybe something to do with his time at reading

I remember Robinson went long odds before clough was annouced. Wouldn't surprise me if they have a put and by droppings someone's name out there the betting changes and they lump on their man before appointing.... Then goes in the coffers for the compo a year down the line
