3 relegated sides , who join the 23 we have to best to get out of here

Blackpool, unless Oyston goes see nothing but further decline, they are being openly shafted in public, cant form a decent squad as they dont have any coherent plan , or drive

Wigan , in sharp decline, the FA cup win looks like a final swan song , as fans drift back to their rugby league roots, without the now discredited former owner they are returning to type , Fleetwood look far more of a positive threat , to either of these 2

Millwall A bit like Orient , always more a lower championship league one club that fluctuates wildly in performance, occasionally look good but too often crumble , if they dont start well could be in more trouble, if they do start well might just compete if they find some funds

To be honest dont see a threat from any of them , in fact fearful of 2 of them continuing a fateful slide

All irrelevant unless we improve our own side massively. We shouldn't have been fearful of Preston, Briston City, MK Dons and Swindon but these sides bettered us by a country mile this season. I'm fearful of anyone unless we improve our squad substantially.

thought all of the 4 clubs above us were expected to be up there
even Briston

if 3 clubs that were better are replaced by 3 worse that will leave 1 better than us , logically , doesnt work out that way unless we improve, we have to improve at home , away record was par for top club

we were 15 points short at home and around 6 away

I hoping they join the other 20 we have to best.

Not sure about Wigan. Don't they still get parachute payments?

Millwall are not similar to Orient. Bigger fanbase and yo-yo between L1 and Championship. They need a decent manager though.

Wigan and Millwall will both be up there I'd guess. Wigan at the top and Millwall around the play-offs. Blackpool will be lucky to stay up.

We certainly had nothing to fear last year and NC blew an opportunity to get out of this god awful league. The only threat we have is from within, unless NC has learned from his mistakes last year I honestly cant see us gaining promotion under NC. Early signs aren't good, McEverley given extension and Howard as our No1 goalkeeper says he hasn't learned or actually believes he didn't make any. We wait with bated breath for future recruitment or not.

in record they are similar periods in championship and league 1
orient got similar gates to millwall when in the championship 11000 ish

wigans average best league one attendance is 7800
blackpools best league 1 average is 6787
millwalls last first season back in league one they got a 9000 average gate

Wigan have parachute money, and Millwall being a London club are likely to pick up few young Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs players on loan, both sides will be up there.

Blackpool are on their way to The Conference North.

Whatever the overall history of the two clubs, over the last thirty years Millwall have been a L1/Championship club and Orient have been a L2/L1 club. They haven't been in the second tier since 1982.

Blackpool- Forget it
Wigan- Don't write them off, the fans may go but they had/have a dedicated chairman who will invest
Millwall- Be right up there at the end of the season

Surely our home form is going to be far better next season, cloughie said he had to change his style at home as the pitch was crap, agree with him as the amount of times the ball bobbled up as a player was shooting was unreal. I reckon if they play how he wants to play i.e Bristol away and we have the Desso pitch we should fear no one. If they are still shit on a Desso pitch, then it will be time to worry. Just a thought......... Onwards and upwards!!!

Wigan are already making offers for players from League One. I assume they are going to follow Wolves' plan of signing League One's best players and getting out of here asap.

Wigan will be up by Easter.

Millwall will be Play Off contenders and Blackpool are going down again.

More midgets thrown out by derby and blackpool no doubt.

This time last year I said "if we are to get out of this league then next season is the time" and I'm saying it again now. The teams who have come down don't strike me as a team who will cause us problems. I can see Wigan doing well but that's about it.

Thats the way to do it. Try and get the cream from league 1 , like you say Wolves . Difference is Wolves had very experienced chairman and manager in Morgan and Jackett . Wigan are run by rookies , which could be there downfall.

Millwall play offs . Blackpool will do a Portsmouth , Surprise package , Burton.

Blades - from 1st to 8th , depending on players we bring in , and Clough behaves.

The problem is the cunts who cost us numerous points at home will still be in the stands! ;)

Donny, Barnsley and Yeovil were the three last season and they did nothing. I think you have to judge teams come august when you can see who will be playing. Who saw preston as a threat this season? Relegated at same time as us and not even made the play offs before this season. They were hovering around tenth before Christmas.Talking of Blackpool Peter Clarke for centre half? not on their retained list announced yesterday.

Exactly I expect Wigan to be buying up the best of League 1.

It literally depends on whether we sign the best players from rival league one clubs or just go for championship journeymen again

He didn't cost us points but he was certainly a cunt.

You use the past tense. I do hope nothing untoward has happened to him? No sane person would wish another gratuitous harm, would they?.....

What?.....Oh.....
