well, the title of England's shittest playoff team is up for grabs...just watch Preston snatch it from us...bloody typical!

Chesterfield looked a good attacking side today, I wouldn't put it past them to be this seasons Rotherham.

Could be that both Preston and us will still have those marvelous play-off records intact come the final day. If you want to cheer yourself up read their fan sites - we look positively optimistic compared with them.

Yes the Preston fans are really down beat, I can see us playing them in the final we owe them one for the cup loss.

Yup I can see Chezzie getting promoted as daft as it sounds then again thinking about it it is not daft at all they have as much chance as us or anyone else ......................... all on a low of 69pts, FFS what a shit league one this season.

totally disagree the leagues been very hard as colchester proved today
who would have thought orient and notts county would find it too hard
we do it a dis service saying its crap

Can't decide what the mentality of Preston will be, they've been up there for so long and could now go out to a team 20ish points adrift, not sure this seems at all fair and certainly will have an effect one way or another on their team, more negative than positive possibly, especially if they fall behind in their match with Chesterfield. I think for me I'd rather play Preston than Chesterfield in a final (especially as I'd hate to lose to them after some of their comments about us) but to be fair that's a long way off and might not happen as Swindon have been resting players and gearing up for the playoffs for a while now so may be better prepared than everyone else. This year seems to be a little more balanced with a good 30% (that might be a slight over exaggeration:p) of Blades fans thinking we'll do it this time, the most positive I've ever seen us:rolleyes:as for me, not a prayer of us doing it but if we get to Wembley then it's anyone's to win (or lose) and I do enjoy the day out in London :)
