Is it a Mere coincidence we are playing Shit since Campbell Rice has been let out on loan? No flare or pace flying down the wing terrifying defenders? No - bring him back sharpish.
No it isn't coincidence mate and this isn't a knee jerk reaction, for Clough to send one of our most influential players out on loan is absolutely ludicrous to say the least. Fucking well pissed off:mad:

Given Clough's track record of sticking to his guns, there's more chance of a second coming than JCR being back at The Lane this season.

Would have been a good impact sub today . Don't think he can be recalled for 28days but agree very doubtful he would be recalled unless we get more injuries

Considering how Clough likes to fall out with players, you must wonder how Baxter and Coutts get away with it.

As much as I'd have kept him as an impact sub, he's got better by the hour since he went out on loan.

I await the shitstorm when people realise Cuvelier scored earlier too.

Again, not for me. Always rated him as I have posted time and time again.

I can see why Clough doesn't though, which is why I doubt I'm ever going to be a big Clough fan.

We're left with Murphy and Done who look comfortable with their fronts to goal. No wonder BDTBL is like a morgue these days.

With the Campbell-Ryce loan deal it seemed to happen so suddenly which I find wierd.
It's not like he would be excluded from the match day squad he was going to get minutes even if he isn't starting every game.
The size of our squad and the way it has been rotated everyone has been in and out of the side x

Still the strangest decision for me. Just when we start playing 4-4-2 we send JCR to notts county. Earlier on in the season he only had one player to aim for now there's two he is away. The other point is that he would always take two defenders away so with two up front it leaves others free

That game was crying out for Campbell-Ryce to come on in the second half today. Barking decision for Clough to send him out on loan, he'd been in and around the first team all season, chipped in with goals, assists and on his day can terrorise a full back.

I don't think anyone is thinking what your implying Foxy, I think S60 Unitedite is right, it wasn't as though he had been banished to the reserves, he was still on the bench and still getting selected from the off in quite a few games. His form in general seemed to be no better or worse than quite a few others. Okay, now I'll mention Cuvelier. Came back from a long spell on the sidelines, and seemed to play better than what we had previously witnessed from him. Disappears again, presumably injured, but appears to again be fit and, is loaned out to a team a division below.

Not basing it purely on the comments on here, but also what I've heard people say. As much as I think he has something to offer, some are making him out to have been fantastic all season and a likely saviour.

There are often many reasons to give players a change of scenery. In Cuvelier's case, I think he came back, impressed (with improved work-rate off the pitch and did well on it), but then got a knock and tailed off slightly... Won't harm him to get games and confidence elsewhere for a while.

In the case of Campbell-Ryce, on a purely football decision, I'd have kept him around (despite his loss of form) and been using him as an impact sub until he showed he'd regained some confidence/consistency. Whose to say there aren't other reasons that aren't so nefarious?

Speaking more generally, about comments I've seen elsewhere, not every decision that is deemed unpopular has to be a falling out or some kind of conspiracy. Saw some bright spark saying we "should have never have let Cuvelier out on loan as he's probably our best player and that he's only gone because he's black".... Erm, yeahhhhh, seen a lot of young Flo have we pal?

There might not have been an argument but it is unusual that a player who started the season a bit part player now isn't content with that.
With Campbell-Ryce I think we knew we were signing an inconsistent winger and you have to persist with those players.
If he was consistent at the standard we know he can play he wouldn't be with us because his good days are very good but his off days is way off the pace x
