He looks class at the minute, lets hope it continues.

Rochdale are missing him badly. He took his two goals well.

Early days but I think there were quite a few on here pleased with Done signing ;)
Honestly, I think that negativity around the signing was fans checking his goal scoring record without knowing he was a defender all his career until this season. I fancied him to make a difference but didn't see him producing this kind of form at all

Whooooaa there you lot

Someone needs to have a word with this mope, when I place a bet for him to score first, he needs to understand its the first goal in the game, not just for us

Grrrrrrr

Blades to Win bet rescued the day ...... :)

What did u get on the Blades to win mate?

They'll see him again soon :)

Very impressive. For the first, he lays the ball off to The Beard and then makes about forty yards to get on the end of the cross.

For his 2nd, he doesn't have to move far, but as soon as he sees the ball on its way to Murphy, he takes up a poacher's position.

It looks as though we've got an instinctive goalscorer, the like of which we haven't had for a very long time.

Hill initially rejected earlier bids and told Done he was going nowhere

Came back in on deadline day with a further bid rumoured to be £600k which their board accepted

If Done carries on doing what we've brought him in to do, it's an absolute steal and a further piece in the jigsaw

A COG/COG type player and an assessment as to whether we need more GK cover due to Howard's injury and I believe we'll have a full house

If Only we could sign a player called Dusted. What a partnership that would be! I'll get my coat.

Staying on a mispronounced surname theme -apparently this feller is ready to come out of retirement to give us a forward line the headline writers crave for :p

Joseph-Désiré Job ............................. Matthew "Matt" Done

Great start from Done but the inevitable will happen, we will finish 3rd just missing out on the top two with Done scoring a load of goals. Play offs will come and we will win the semi with Done scoring again.

The day before the final Done will either; be sent to prison or get injured. We will then have to watch Higdon running around like a headless chicken at Wembley like we had to watch Cresswell all them years ago.

Sheffield Wed 1-4 Wrexham

Mark Jones capped a fine display with Wrexham's final goal
Sheffield Wednesday's lacklustre start to the season continued as they were dumped out of the Carling Cup at home by rampant League Two side Wrexham.
The Championship hosts were two down by half-time, Neil Roberts converting Mark Jones' knock-down and Chris Llewellyn dispossessing Tommy Spurr to score.

Matty Done added a third, bundling home Jones' cross, before Glenn Whelan's screamer gave the Owls some hope.

But Jones finished things for Wrexham, cutting inside to curl home a beauty.
