Negative football home and away all season is no good. We should be going to teams and taking the game to them.

If we change now we might still have a chance of scraping in the play offs.

Clough said we had a run of games which were winnable , good start to that. We had the run in November & December were most of the games were at home, we managed to draw a few of them which is no good for promotion.

Crazy calling for Clough to go . We have to stick with what we have got . Changing the team around and no out and out striker has cost us the game today . A couple of loan striker is now a must , to even achieve the play offs , never mind winning them.

Lost a game , but its how we lost it today.

In Nigel we trust!

I hate to say it, but I'm starting to have my doubts. This idea of playing one up front is killing us. Not bringing in a true striker(s) is killing us.

Lord, I always think you have a good, balanced view of the game. However, to even consider we could somehow make the play-offs makes you, me and Clough candidates for the padded cell! :(

For the record I've always been a big fan of Clough.....

Secondly I'm not sure how anyone can be criticised for wanting a change of manager. Have you looked at our league form since October? It's pitiful.

I don't want him out but I can't understand why he's not under a huge amount of pressure. The cups have masked a dog shit run in the league.

One - copying my username. Unacceptable.
Two - We had no idea what to do with the ball, other than lump it uselessly down the flanks. Absolute rubbish.

Because he's had the board's trousers down. Very large (By Div. 3 standards) outlay and the building of a huge squad have left us looking over our shoulder. Given the expenditure under NC he - like the banks - is 'too big to fail.'

His failure to bring a quality striker to the club will cost us any chance of the playoffs. He has to find someone through the loan window and then actually play them up front rather than bloody midfielders!

He is one of the most stubborn managers we have ever had but even he must see that one none striker up front is not good enough to get out of this shite league.

Clough - not tactically aware enough, too negative, too stubborn etc. A piss poor manager in my opinion but unfortunately he's here to stay. At least the clappers can enjoy clapping mediocrity until the end of the season and then have all the excitement of another bumper thread speculating on next year's kit to look forward to. Yes, that is just about as good as it will ever get with Clough in charge.

All today means is we can now only drop 10 points.

If we could afford to drop 13 points then at some point we must lose to drop those points.

Chins up.

Shit, I'm sounding like Pinchy.

All this malarky started away at Burton . The cup run has hidden over the cracks . Still can make the play offs , but Mr Clough might have to become Paul Daniels to achieve it . We need leaders and players with balls who will fight for the cause . Either that or we ain't as good as we all thought we were.

Baffled.

3 wins since October is it? Crikey that's poor but I'm not going to say get shot of Clough - that would be lunacy.

He does however need to loosen the reigns a bit and be more tactically adventurous. We were playing Gillingham ffs.

Schtop!! Calm down. People are talking as if the seasons over and we have no chance. It's a shit result today off the back off a shit result last Tuesday. There were numerous changes to the squad not to mention the new boys coming in and others featuring after lengthy injuries. Times on our side. We just need a good run. Outing Clough would be a disaster. The team needs to settle again for the new players. I think we will come good.

What was the pitch like? if it was heavy then it is difficult to play passing footbal

We play a false number 9 system, and a false number 10, 7, 8. ........

Sacking him now is pointless, end of the season it when it should happen if (when) we haven't gone up.

however they won't he's here for a long long long long long long long time.

Today was unacceptable I think everyone agrees that. Not because of the result but because of the lack of performance. I can take losing but not playing dogshit like we did. However, anyone thinking of sacking the manager is either 100 percent pork or just a fucktard. Take your pick.
