Gillingham v Blades

What do you think about match?

Blades should win, but Blades sometime make things harder for themselves.

One thing I think we can almost guarantee, is whining locals shouting handball every couple of minutes, as seems to be the norm for a visit there.

Still, we might get Frisbee'd a free poncho.... can't wait :D

I think it will be absolutely freezing and as there's no roof where we'll be sat, let's hope it stays dry.
2 - 1 Blades

Good luck!

Sometimes fans have to go out on a limb - well pleased with that team for a tough away game v Gills.

Would call it a 4-5-1 with Murphs up top, but perhaps we can show a bit of back bone to our play.

V disappointed midweek, but that's gone - new game, new team to a degree and reckon we are going to have a Saturday team and a midweek team from now on.

What's happened to JCR? Injured or out of favour?

Edit: Just seen he's on the bench. Wonder why he's fallen out of favour though, must be because of Adams.

Fingers crossed, but having just looked at the table, just 7 points seperates us from what I'd considered relegation fodder. Throw in home advantage and a result here might be tough.

why close the poll on the match result before the team has been announced?
FFS it's not as though anyone (including him!) has a clue who's going to be picked.

Bradford winning

Peterborough winning

Chesterfield winning

Starting to watch the teams below us rather than above us

We're drawing and Keeffff Edwards frustrated there's no one in the box. That's cause we haven't got anyone to put in the box, he's busy scoring for Colchester

THE KING HAS HASNT GOT ANY CLOTHES ON

and we bring a striker on with 8 minutes to go ffs

2 nil

In Nige we trust my arse

We have a very negative manager, and we're stuck between mediocrity and shitting ourselves about sacking another manager. The worrying part is that it seems fair to give him until next Christmas, yet that might wrtite next season off too.

4 points above Gillingham, who will have a tiny fraction of our resource. Wow.

Of course, a mid table finish this season should result in the sack. And our form suggests that's on the cards.

Hehe - as predicted the first "Clough aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhht" though (not so) cleverly disguised.

I've said the same several times before today, win lose or draw. No disguise, no short term dummy spitting. Mid table finish should be the sack, otherwise next Christmas.

Given we're in our worst phase of 125 years of history, I think that's fairly balanced.

What a fantastic and inspiring week and half this has been...

Even if they sack him we have 2 changing rooms full of Ken Dodds daddy men.

No chance of autos now, and it's by no means certain that we will make the play-offs.

Even if we don't go up this season I wouldn't support sacking Clough. Look how many managers we've had since we sacked Warnock. Sacking managers isn't the answer. If we're forced to spend another season in this division, so be it.

The only sackings I've been in favour of since relegation from the Prem were Robson and Weir, both of whom weren't up to the job and appeared to have "lost the dressing room". Our downward slide continued after sacking Warnock, Blackwell and Wilson. Even Adams wasn't given a fair amount of time in my opinion.

Can't see Clough being sacked at the end of the season, whatever happens (bar relegation). But there have been plenty of worrying performances this season, including the last two. It's all about making the play-offs now. And I wouldn't fancy us to beat Preston, Swindon or even Chesterfield in a semi final.
