Yes, played as a lone striker as well vs Stoke. Was very impressed with him.

No ...... I refuse to panic at the fact we've waited nearly 3 years to sign a proven striker and the wait still continues !!

However, I do have a plan. How about we buy every midfield player in the country and then at some point, when we've cornered the market , we can swap 10 midfield players for a decent striker ??

Or, hell, how about we try an untried tactic like play a 4 - 6 - 0 formation to see if we can score goals in an agricultural Division with a midfield who's average height is 5 foot. That could work couldn't it ?? What ...... we've already been trying that unsuccessfully for 2 years ............

Suits our style, all the best sides have numerous quick players and pass/run with the ball quickly, as we did second half. Been looking forward to Baxter behind a quick striker (and Reed), could reek (sic) havoc.

I'm glad he was concentrating on loan signings?? Not hard enough clearly. I've never known a manager so publicly incapable of signing players.

Anyway, Done's a very good signing IF we can bring another striker in on loan.
