Just out of interest all the fans whinging and moaning about Clough , the squad the tactics the board KM the prince the money

will they boycott going to a league cup final , if / when we beat spurs

can we have a vote ?

That will do some good wont it,
There won't be any need to boycott a cup final because we wont get there, we've already got the semi final fantastic achievement merchandise on sale.
BTW What Prince and what money are you talking about ?

I'm not happy with a lot of shite that goes off at the lane, but IF we get to Wembley this season I will go because the days out at Wembley are always brilliant up until kick off.

But I'll ask you this, WHEN we bounce back to reality and we get humped daft by Harry Kane and Co next week, then knocked out of the cup to PNE and finally lose in a 2 legged Play Off semi final will you sit there quietly with your renewal forms or will you question this season's Transfers, Squad, NN's tactics and the Board's lies?

Thats what I was after, unquestioning belief in our ability

If anyone who has any critical faculties has no right to be at the Final, we're in for a pretty small turnout. Just BTL, in fact, who's faculities I've long been concerned about.

sorry for being supportive of the club , its something Im trying to distance myself from , your help has been appreciated

Im sat watching real madrid losing 2-1 to neighbours atletico in 2nd leg so 4-1 down thinking glad we arent as shit as them
its all about perspective ,

We have had clough a year and a bit, starting from a pit of utter despair , yes we have seen the lean times and the leaner
wasnt going to become world beaters over night were we

susan boyle became famous overnight , still looks a munter despite spending a fortune on improvements , might take a bit longer yet

Bit brainless to pitch the question in the first place, wasn't it? I have criticised the fuck out of the board and for specific reasons (such as the bullshit we - the fans of all persuasions - have been fed) It would be churlish to claim you support the club and not support them in the face of potential glory.

But we have been here before, haven't we? I saw Alan Shearer on telly last night and under his name it said 'Cup Finalist 1998' and I thought "Yeah. That bastard put us out, didn't he?" and I can do that so many times, Mark Bright, Hopkin, Hull City, Liverpool, Dave Seaman, Naysmith, Burnley ... the list is illustrious and painful. But hey, optimism, for once eh?

But as others have said, to balance the potential glory we face, we haven't half seen some disastrous points slip away from our grasp in the past five odd years. And still people running the club seem to think we believe their crap.

Why would I chose to take a stance now when I've been putting up with shite for many a year.

To be honest considering the big shit topped with hundreds and tousands of shit that we are in now, well blades have just been blades throug hit all. Attendances are still strong and the majority are still behind the cause whether disgruntled or not.

blackburn took very few to their league cup final as many fans were unhappy with what they saw as inept running of the club , its a valid question , or in our case a VALAD question

Many moons ago we used to berate the part timers who turned up for the big games,.as young lads we didn't have the money for season tickets so we couldn't guarnatee the big games,.the first derbies back in the first division were the worst, one of my mates paid £50 for a kop ticket, but that was the 2-0 when those pigs smacked into each other and dane scored so he was over the moon with that...

My point is this, without those floating fans,.the stands in our "big games" especially the disaster that is our wembley appearances, cardiff, and old trafford would be half empty if you got your way and they didn't turn up, 18/19000 fans would look stupid for a club of our size in a major stadium...

And tell me why you wouldn't want sheffield united fans to be there if and when we finally break our duck at wembley, cause god knows we all deserve to see that..

All fans whinge and moan . Its what you call football .

What would be the point in boycotting the match . We would only be pissed off if we won . Any way a small following would not be a true reflection to the general public / media of what a tremendous following the blades have from there supporters at ANY match.

Any way lets not jump the gun , as football fans do . We have to get there first.

LOL lets get past spurs first, its not Fleetwood.. Even without the boycotters, there'll be enough of us to witness it

Send out a search party to Mesdowhall!
If Porter isn't found soon I will be boycotting...!

I will be doing all I can to get a ticket, love a trip to Wembley and would never miss one. I don't fancy our chances at all I have to admit, in a one off game at Bramall Lane I think we could produce something special but over two legs I don't think it will even be close. I thought this about Villa, Fulham, Hull, MK Dons and Southampton though and they proved me wrong.

I have seen the vast majority of home games at Bramall Lane during the last 30 years, seen United on over 90 different grounds, invested a lifetime of hope in the seeing us win something, going to Spurs on Wednesday at the expense of 2 leave days off work, and even going to MK tomorrow, but i applaud the stance that Blade Too Long has taken and will boycott the final on his say so.

You sarcastic bugger! As sincere as the England cricket team is determined.
