knowing us we will have paid out a good amount for a unfit lump now for a player with genuine quality we offer 80k < (bbc news)

That rockets straight into the top five of my favourite real life names ever. So far, my favourites were two female American lawyers whose names I encountered in my job. One was called Zina Bash which wasn't two shabby. The other one worked best in writing, but surely even the Americans' proverbial love for middle names could not explain what exactly her parents were thinking of. Poor girl was listed on the website as Anna L. Chase...

Clough will pay as little as he thinks he can get away with and never go in with the maximum offer. The bloke is out of contract before long, would you be happier with reports that he'd offered his full budget, just to show he's very serious and we could afford it? Regardless of how he sees this one fitting in his plans.

Our first and single offer to date is less than 80k.

I'd be very disappointed if we spent £2mil on Doyle.

£100k seems about our limit these days despite the big crowds, cup runs & player sales. It's pathetic.

To be fair, we don't know how bad it really was beforehand. As someone on here said today, Weir's job was just to avoid falling into League 2 before the Prince deal went through which shows how bad things were. I now believe that this was indeed game-changing.

I'm sure SUFC and Celtic have seen a lot more of him than you have and for that reason are pursuing their interest

There's plenty of fans who've never actually seen him play who say we should have started at £250k though, so he must be worth that, despite the fact statistically we've had better value out of Scotland multiple times in recent years.

No I don't want him to spend his budget, I want him to fanny about penny pinching just for him to go to Celtic.
You say budget like brayford, Doyle and bradshaw are all possibilities, I'd be happy with ONE good signing this JTW.
