“Jesus that was not good enough was it? We were all over the place and what was going on with the penalty? Crazy stuff. “

“The deedars seem to be getting off on the result, but they have got to take into account that they were playing Donny and thanks to dickov were shit, they didn't look that good, you listen to em moaning on radio deedar about clough what would they do if they had dickov as manager, but i don't think that would happen their board aren't that daft.”

“Poor team but better than us. “

“3 minutes really? Not the first thing this inept Official got wrong. They must have wasted 1.5 to 2 minutes having scored. There were 4 or even 5 substitutions and he kept telling their keeper he was adding time on for his lengthy Goal Kicks “

“It could have been 30 minutes we still wouldn't have scored.”

“I was glad it was only 3 minutes. “

“It was a clear dive (By JCR in the first half). The cheating little b*****d went for it all along.”

“Why do you JCR went and scored that 'wonder' goal for the Dingles against Rovers at Oikwell a few years ago? It was because if any of the players tried tackling him they knew he would dive through the air like he'd been shot, resulting in an almost definite sending off by the conned ref. “

“Let's be honest, the ref gave us the clear rub of the green throughout the game. “

“Their no 9 should have got a yellow for diving - he did it twice. Cracking goal though. “

“The one thing you could say about the referee was he was consistent throughout the game. He was total shite for both teams. “

“Bottled booking their no9 twice for diving. Twice he went down, didn't get a foul and protested to the ref. Their winger went down too easy too, including that foul which was given but should therefore have been a penalty.
Yes, poor for both side”

I've realised for a while now that cheating plays a major role on the pitch, and those teams who are better at it are more successful.

“The officials are to blame. They encourage diving because players can't get a foul unless they end up on the ground. For instance, I can't remember the last time a penalty was awarded for a foul on a player who remained on his feet.
Prime suspects like Campbell Rice (Sheff Utd) are very effective when in full diving mode, and Donny are lacking such a player. The nearest we've got as potential diving cheats are Copps and Bennett. Perhaps PD should introduce the necessary gamesmanship as a part of our play that is so obviously missing.
This is not just a theory, it is a fact.
Yesterdays result was a prime example based on the fact that Sheffield united are better at cheating than us. “

“Our penalty looked like a correct decision, but we fluffed it. Their goal was a great legitimate effort. Those two moments won/lost the game which otherwise neither side looked like winning.
But I agree other teams do seem to employ more gamesmanship. I hope we don't go down that line though.”

“Sheffield utd committed roughly the same amount of fouls during that time, but none of them were deemed worthy of a card. Why? I'll tell you why, Rovers players went 'ouch' following a foul, whereas the Sheffield united players went down like they'd been shot dead.
The three bookings to nil result of this was catastrophic for Rovers in such an early par of the game. It meant the three culprits couldn't play to their full blooded potential for fear of a second card for killing another united player. “

“Hope all of their true fans hung their heads in shame with the disgraceful chanting”

“What was disgusting about them?
Other than their 6 fingers and horrible stench of course.
Come to think of it, I hope the club has bucket loads of bleach, to cleanse the north stand of their grime.”

“Couldn't believe there were so many of them singing it”

“All they can say it's dragging the name of the club down. Well sign him or feck him off and stop pissing about.they don't give a toss about some lass getting raped.”

“Oh right, they were glorifying the rape of a young girl.
Couldn't make it out with their monotone, horrible deedaah accents.
Doesn't surprise me, would expect anything else from that shit hole cess pit of a city.
Truely is a grim place “

“I heard super Ched a couple of times. There were also boos from some Rovers fans and I think some in the Blades end too. “

“DD wanted to get a chant of "There's only one Jess Ennis" going. Tried it, but it fell a bit flat. “

“Agree with the OP - those singing in support of Evans are a disgrace to their club in my opinion.
But we shouldn't be surprised should we?
On an entirely different level, with so many police there today why did none of them move a muscle to arrest the Blades fan who encroached onto the pitch when they scored?
Why have laws if there is no attempt to enforce them? “

“Blades weren't up to much as a goal threat but back four had a decent game.”

“Vast majorities of the East Stand were Blades fans how is this allowed to happen???”

“Only noticed the odd one in the family stand & they were no bother. Not hard for them or someone they know having a donny postcode I'd imagine.”

“One old prick in the family stand cheered when they scored. I was so pissed off but didn't want the nearby children to hear my anger so I kept quiet. I wanted rovers to score so I could give it him back!”

“ f****** hell player misses a penalty tyson robbed of a certain goal peppered the blades must be dickovs fault note to do with losing half of his defence”

“Peppered the Blades? With what. A feather?”

“apart from the penalty it was all sufc”

“All Sheff Utd today.”

“That's why you shouldn't listen to Radio Sheff when we're playing a home team of theirs. Not saying it was 50/50, but on Player it sounded much more even than what I've heard of the Radio Sheff United commentary.”

“Cant believe Dickov thought we were the better side. We were awful. Outplayed all over the pitch.”

“TBH neither side deserved anything from that game
2 of the worst sides I have seen grace KMS”

“Eh !!!!! hate to say it but thought Sheff utd looked pretty good, just missing a big target man.”

“Did anyone see Chris Morgans foul mouthed inbred dingle thugs antics on touchline. Really hate that man! oh and his baldy mate made Dickov look quite serene on touchline “

“We were not in the game today, throughout we sat back and never challenged until their players were in the penalty area. “

Entertaining stuff! I love reading these when we've won.

Mind you, I have to agree, I was also surprised that so many sang the Super C**d song.

And the ref WAS garbage all over the pitch.

We do go down easy these days but like you say so does every other side. Particularly the successful ones.

My view of them - several cynical fouls and generally physical side. Number 11 (Main?) was overly aggressive and could have had 2 yellow cards. Not much quality although Coppinger, as usual, looks a classy player. Fans very quiet, at several points during the match held up their mobiles with lights on, perhaps as a small protest?! A small group of fans did try to generate some atmosphere. Nice enough ground and staff seemed friendly.

In the second half Forester went through Alcock near our corner flag. His feet looked to be off the floor. The locals around us thought he was going to be off.

We do go down to easy nowadays. Maybe it's rose tinted glasses but I certainly don't remember us being that bad.

I have no problem with the super ched song as long as we're supporting the lads on the pitch as well. What I don't want to hear are the bad taste songs denigrating the victim.

I can now add Donny Rovers to the list of teams I used to have a soft spot for but now hate as a result of sour grapes.

Well done DRFC, join Chezzy and Rovrum.

Quite right. I don't agree with the Ched songs anyway, it takes a buzz out of our atmosphere, where half the stand chooses to sing and the other half stand there shaking their heads with disapproval.

However, for the first time I heard the chant many seem familiar with which names the victim and calls her a 'liar who takes it up the sh*tter and is a whore'. The same lads also felt it appropriate to sing degrading songs about Charlie Webster and Jess Ennis. I've never been so proud of our fans.

My lads are desperate for me to take them to an away match but while ever this kind of abusive chanting is going on, I don't think I'll bother. We need to drown out these idiots by responding with a song that actually celebraties any one of the 11 who is on the field of play. I hope United take the initiative on this and begin turfing people out starting on Tuesday night. It's time to show everyone we mean what we said in our statement.

Agree , but didn't really take much notice . Too enthralled concentrating what was happening on the pitch . Don't let this episode stop you taking your kids . It was a lot worst in the 70s / 80s although life , PC , has moved on , since those times ,( but in some cases PC has gone mad )
Booze and lack of brain cells = idiots. Unfortunately its the times we live in , and the toxic backlash this saga has created.

Must have been a tiny section that sang the Ennis, Webster & naming the victim songs as I never heard them.

The Super Ched chants were embarrasing though, was strange to hear Blades fans booing Blades fans.

Don't know about sour grapes these Donny fans must have been sucking lemons :D:D:D

Instead of chanting super Ched, we'd be better off singing "Super Mike, Super Michael Doyle". The lads having a great season, be nice to give him a bit of recognition and it would kind of kill two birds with one stone. Having said that, singing a song for Michael Doyle might in fact be more divisive than the aforementioned Mr Evans. Worth a punt though.

...are a disgrace to the club and to themselves.

This was the worst day yet for me in the whole Evans debacle, but it continued on to even worse and more embarrassing depths today.

Firstly, can I mention the obvious, it is a complete and utter joke that some 'fans' choose to continually sing the name of a person who doesn't play for us and never once sin the name of our current players.

However, that was the least of the problems today. In the name of free speech, I cannot strictly oppose the singing of Evans' name, that's up to you, but when it comes to songs such as 'she said yes, Evans' 'He'll shag who he wants' and something along the lines of 'just a lying slag who takes it up the a***' aimed at the victim, is a disgrace not only to the club but to themselves as members of our society. I cringe every time I hear it and is overstepping the mark for me. It took until mid-way through the second half for someone to pipe and and tell them to 'shit the f*** up, and support the 11 on the field'. A sentiment shared by myself and many around us. Unfortunately, this led to further conflict in the stand amongst fellow Blades, and made for a rather uncomfortable atmosphere around us in the final half hour.

How anyone can want this for our fans is beyond me, and makes me not want to attend games of this sort of animosity will exist amongst our own fans at every game. The singing will have zero effect on the clubs decision over Evans, and makes it worse for the fans - and the players too, quite probably. So this is another plea, to please put the Evans chants on the back burner for now until any decision is made.
It is unhelpful and often unsavoury. We won the game and fans were still cheating his name. Anyone to the right of the halfway line today may have experienced the same feelings and made an away win much much less enjoyable. Let's rally together and support our current squad, for the good of the club please!

PS equally as bad is the 'Brandy has Ebola' chants. You vile humans. #1

Are you sure you or the people you go with aren't starting these because I haven't heard any of his ,you must be going out of your way to listen to what it is you want to hear. Actually looking through your post history you have very little positive to ever say about United ,just stirring things up ,why do you bother ?

Lepton Blade . Yes Michael Doyle does deserve some recognition . He and Basham ( at CH ) are becoming the unsung heroes . However i think Mr Clough may give the new lad a run out against Crewe , with the new chant being Super Che . Let us hope so and wish the lad luck.

From where I was, back row near the side stand with Blades in, I only heard a few "Super Ched" chants, to my left in the side stand.Appeared to be met in similar volume with boos, from the same area.First time I've heard that reaction. There were 3 or 4 round me who joined in with the "Super Ched"...One near me walked down a couple of steps, turned round and shouted in people's faces "Super Ched...f@ck 'em all"..When back in his seat, he shouted it again. I booed. I surprised myself to be honest, but I just couldn't bear the thought of any suggestion that he represented me or my club (his too accepted)..It was nothing, but I hated feeling like that..Didn't hear any of the other chants thankfully. The game, OK 2nd half, and atmosphere was otherwise brilliant!

I was sat smack bang in line with where the players celebrated the goal and heard several loud renditions of Super Ched, at one point it sounded like most of the away support were singing it. The 'Super Ched' was much louder than the booing. Apart from 'We'll sign who we want', I didn't hear any other songs at all in relation to Ched. No naming the victim, no abuse towards Ennis or Webster. Nothing.

Funnily enough i was there, and only heard 2 or 3 Ched songs, and didn't hear anything sang about Jess Ennis, Charlie Webster or The Accuser, but there was some singing in the Walkabout about The Accuser and Charlie Webster although this was mainly the Cbeebies.

Agree totally , from the boxes only 20 or so yards away from the blades end there were no chants audible other than "super ched " and " we'll sign who we want" and very little audible booing .
In my opinion it's more predictable than disgraceful. Following the request from the pfa, the self righteous vitriol from someone off sky, ancient pop singers , athletes and question time to name a few is quite something.
Genuine blades feel backed into a corner, and so predictably in true Sheffield bloody mindedness , come out fighting .
I'm neither proud or disgraced .. Just a blade

The ched songs occured 2 or 3 times, and the "we're sheff utd we'll sign who we want" chants a couple of times also.
I was quite vocal in my disapproval and was embarassed to be tarnished with the same brush.
It doesn't matter what your view on the ched debate is, at this time it is absolutely inappropriate to be chanting the name of a convicted criminal who doesn't even play for us. If his name gets cleared and he resigns then chant his name all you want. But not now. Howard saves a pen, we defend resolutely, Murphy scores a screamer. Chant about those. Chant about what an excellent prospect Louis Reed is or the doyle cockney walk.
Some idiots ruined part of the atmosphere yesterday for me.

What a pathetic post. If a blade makes a noise in the woods and sitwell isn't there to hear it, does it make a noise?

Ridiculous response. I can guarantee I aren't spending my time making up a song with the lyrics 'her name is ****, and she is a liar, she takes it up the shitter, she's a f*cking whore'. Funnily enough I have better things to do with my time would you believe.

Personally, I would say you are so blinded by your bladey bladeyness you are incapable of seeing anything wrong with this whole embarrassment the club is currently going through. I was at Crewe, and other posters confirmed the chants I heard. Anyone who went under the stand at half time who was to the right of the goal yesterday I'm sure could confirm some of the chants I have stated were happening. I aren't making things up, you are choosing to ignore them because it doesn't suit your agenda. It's this narrow minded ignorance which is the main reason our club and fans are getting a slating at the moment.

I can only apologise if my moral compass offends you, but quite frankly I'm disgusted with people chanting offensive things about a rape victim and FELLOW BLADES! Let's ignore the offensive tweets as well (are you going to deny they happened too because you haven't read them?). Good for you if you're happy to sing a rapist's name (sarcasm FYI) but I post my thoughts. If you disagree, then fair enough, but to just deny they are happening is the equivalent of a 3 year old putting his hands in his ears, saying 'la la la' and stomping his feet. It's this attitude which is making the situation even worse, and giving our fans a justifiably bad reputation.

Actually my priority after the match was my delight at seeing utd win an exciting away game which I enjoyed rather than concentrate on a few chuffs singing songs. Maybe that's me being a bladey blade eh ?
Aren't you fucking bored of it yet ?

Didn't hear any Ched chants personally, however we continually kept the Bobby Harris chant going for a good while. We were stood back row, bang behind net :)

All in all a top day out, class result & an absolute peach of a goal from Murphy, don't let the Ched fiasco overshadow that
