...just wait until we sign this striker...ZOOOOOOOOOM!

We are playing well, back looks better, ball playing is better, Svougs waking up after a slow start, Murphy and Howard excellent. We just need a few less injuries. Higs, MM and Davies back would be nice options to have.

Can't deny, after listening to us dominate a game again without scoring I switched off the commentary in disgust when we gave away the pen.
I thought it was an error when I checked the score 10 mins later.
Football's a funny game Brian

I tend to it turn off if we go behind too, then turn on the commentary again a few minutes later.

But I had a sneaky feeling that he might miss the penalty or it might be saved, and a fantastic five minutes followed.

I did think we might concede right at the death, though, and what a kick in the bollocks that would have been. Even with ten men it sounds like we had a couple of chances to put it to bed but didn't take them.

I'm looking forward to seeing a replay of Baxter's attempted lob of the keeper too. The commentary team said that he "hit it too well" whatever that means.

How did Wallace's injury look? Bit surprising to see Doyle dropped today. Was it Wallace in his role for the first 20 minutes? How did Basham play back in midfield?

Thought we looked better with wallace on the pitch till Doyle settled. I think it was just precautionary because he was feeling the injury he'd just come back from.
Basham seems to be getting better and better. He could be a new center back star.

Said it before and will say it again - PLENTY on here did not give Basham time to settle into a NEW club.

Please note, he has moved his family to Sheffield and his wife has just had a baby.

Sometimes fans have to be a bit more patient and dare I say tolerant?

Wallace didn't even look like he was injured till he went off, probably a sstrain or precautionary. Doyle and basham can't play together, both improved markably when basham went to centre half, both should be starting in that position in my opinion.

I think you'll get your wish now McCarthy is set to have a game off. With Basham at centre half we also get the ball-player there we've lacked since Harry left. Double bubble.

Nige said in his post match interview that he thinks Basham's best position is CB and I have to agree with him. I must confess, in the first few weeks I thought we'd signed a dud, but since the birth of his young un and his move to CB he's been a revelation, contributing massively to the tightening up of our defence.

Great win today for the Blades. I love it when we put one over on Donny, the main reason being some of their gobby fans giving it large a couple of seasons ago when they were saying they were "Yorkshire's number one club"
The Donny fans are just as full of themselves as the Dingles are, the difference being they don't sleep with their mothers.

To be fair to Donny fans they were sampling some success after years of decline and also coming back from non-league - and they were vying for Yorkshire's number one slot.

In contrast Dingles fans have always been knobheads - they are so close to the Rust Bucket I believe there has been some mingling of genetic material over the years. :o
