not many are but he is ,pick a name out of a hat for an upgrade on our ragtag bunch of squad players
you should get a fisher price phone mateWhat??
Some fans didn't even give Clough a year on a modest budget. That's life
Can you get there for 1230 on Sunday? It's a 35 minute drive. Any probs text Dave as I won't be there.
Cheers

a "big club" like ours.
Edit: Clearly i need to expand on my OP. Yesterday the Mancs manager said his "process" would likely take 3 years to rebuild his squad. My sarcasm was intended to emphasize how little time some fans g ave our own manager to rebuild our squad. My irony was to suggest that ours was " big club pressure" compared to the Mancs. Hey ho, my mistakes.
All good points, but if you dumped Chelsea at the bottom of league 2 and installed a monkey as the manager, they would progress. We wouldn't have finished 7th if Clough hadn't come in and started the rebuild process. We're about a year into it, and further forward than we were last season, that's progression whether you like it or not. The squad and team are stronger than last year, that's also progression, and we know we're shy of a forward which with put us further forward.
There is clear progression and improvement, if you chose to see it or not is another matter and entirely subjective.

Just a quote of a quote of yours, bit of fun.
I would always say " pardon" actually.

There's a point at which moving forward at snails pace doesn't deserve much credit. I'm not sure where we are on that scale.

Precisely.
Back to the OP, if Van Gaal gets himself 3 years, how long should Clough be given. Clough had the harder job
