no we are not rubbish, we are doing what some teams do - grow into a season and get better the more they play together. To be honest Weirs team might have got better had he been given longer and thank goodness we never found out.

2 clubs that did it last season wer Wolves and Rotherham. Both of them seem to have a half decent manager - as do we.

What are you measuring it against? We're not an exciting, fast-paced team that will thrash teams regularly, but we are efficient and better than a majority of teams in this league. It's tough, even being in the top 6, to pinpoint our best performance of the season as we haven't really blown anyone away. We still need a little more fire power IMO, but we're staying in touch and that's all we can ask for from this squad. We seem to focus on stopping other teams playing first, which is quite effective at times, but rarely makes for exciting games of football. If Clough believes that is the best way for our squad to win promotion, who are we to question why?

No just over cautious in every game, as proven time and again when we have to in the last few minutes we can score goals.

I agree, and it's a point I've been making quite alot. However, we have improved in the last few games. We made a good start against Yeovil and Bradford, could have been two up at Crewe in the first 5 minutes and last night was more the two sides cancelling each other out than us being overly negative. We started the second half well but couldn't get the goal.

You or your 'gert'?

The pair of us........but as usual it was our gert who got us in trouble  the customs chap said we would have got away with staying if we had less than 20 migrants in the motorhome.:D
