Well its not about Ched...

Billy Sharp apparently disappointed at not getting much game time at dirty fucking leeds.

So as we're struggling with defenders conceding goals, plus a surplus of players, shall we go and get Billy and bring him home on loan for a few games?

I'd rather just give McNulty more time and look elsewhere for another striker :)

two more ex blades that arent getting alot of football are matty lowton and greg halford ,both of these would benefit us

I know I keep harping on about McNulty, but I really do see something in the lad, I think if he can start games and play full games he will score more (he seems to score most times when he comes on for the last 10 minutes), McNulty up front, Baxter sitting behind him, Wallace in the middle, JCR out wide, to me all that makes logical sense.

So he who must not be named isn't coming back then ...??

As a former Billy cheerleader, get stuffed, stay at the club you've always had a soft spot for and suck it up.

Rescue Leigh Griffiths from his Lesser Greens nightmare instead.

Some of us saw something in McNulty the first time we saw him and said so, though if this follows the normal pattern Foxy will claim the credit of being first to spot the hidden talent. :)

When did you first see him play? ;)

First tiime I saw him was the Fenerbache game, he made an immediate impact and I liked what I saw.
I knew he was going to be good the moment his dad gave his mother one in 1985 (ish).

Beat that.

It was funny against Bristol C that many on here immediately wrote him off. Many also praised Higdon. The more sensible on here were more willing to wait out a few games and see how they both develop.

I've only seen McNults a couple of times but he certainly looks more instinctive than Higdon and is a poacher. I'd say most of his goals will be inside 10-12 yards, but probably has a 20-30 yarder or two in him once the confidence picks up.

Also, Higdon is sounding like the 3 game ban might've done him some good, putting in the running sessions during his suspension. So we might have two hungry strikers back next week to be vying with ched.

As much as I like Sharp I don't think he would be a big benefit to the team. Two failed stints at United, didn't do well at Donny last season and clearly isn't setting the world alight at Leeds either. I hope his career picks up, must be a frustrating time for him at the moment, but don't think it's a good fit.

I'm another one with great hopes for McNulty. Looks like our most promising striker since Blackman, very faint praise I know, but it's nice to have a player up front who looks like they might know where the goal is.

Sharp has only been decent at Scunny and Donny.
Leave well alone.

McNuts is not yet the finished article but he will be at least very good. Just needs 1 or 2 more proper strikers to help him. Can't believe we have not got a loan in for this already.

McCarthy for a month only is a joke

I like all of the players we have signed from Scotland, certainly for this level. Some have taken a while to adapt, but they are all quite young, still learning & it's a big transition. McNulty is exceeding expectations at this stage as far as I'm concerned.

In fairness to Billy he did ok for goals at Southampton, but he didn't play that much.

But I'd agree, we should leave him as I don't think he's the striker we need

"Yes, these are not the droids you are looking for"

(waves hand, which disappears under cloak and then silently merges into the shadows)
