Yeah, not judge the board and I'll be looking where we are from the next game.Judge us after 10 games
Did he say that it was the board who refused to deals rather than him because the price wasn't worth paying? So when he said publicly he gave the board 3 players on TDD, and we got none of them, likewise for Freeman and Bennett, how is that 'not being refused' anything?

You want to attack the club get on with it, but Clough can't be exempt, just because it doesn't fit your agenda.
It's all pathetic but crack on, I know you'll be proven wrong over the season.
I can't agree with this sorry, I don't believe Clough has had this hands tied behind his back at all. Team is simply under preforming, we do have the quality to get out of this league.
That's upto Clough, blame him if you want to.'Price wasn't worth paying'. Glad we spent the money on other worthwhile players then.
So if you don't believe the board or the manager where do you get your info from?Just because we're told its up to Clough doesn't make it so. You should know better than to believe everything you hear from our club.
Not fact by any stretch of the imagination. However if you have that view then Clough is just as much to blame as the board. What about the 'fact' that we're shit?

Clough said he'd been backed, you don't have proof otherwise.
Your just making stories up and pushing an agenda with no facts.
I think the expectation from the board had been clearly stated. Clough knows if he doesn't get promotion he's going to be judged so why not say if he hasn't been given what was promised?
.
Unless he has and now we just need to put a run together with the players we have who are more than good enough.
Then he's to blame, if he didn't like his budget he should have said so.Because he might well have, but then what he's been promised just isn't enough.
Well most posters on the forum said judge us after 10 games. After playing those 10 games we are sitting in eleventh spot in the live league table just slightly above bang mid table which I think is a fair reflection on how we are doing. Call it mid table or is it mediocre ? I can't see us going down yet I can't see us making even the play off's at this rate either. Success or failure can come down to fine margins and at the moment we are collectively just not quite up to the job, like today's game it sounded like we were the better team for 30mins then Murphy is fouled by the last defender who only receives a yellow card. They go down the other end and score with a wonder strike (well shit happens). Then Higdon does a stupid late tackle and gets a straight red (he was lucky not to do the same against Gillingham) this more than anything changed the game. I thought we were back in the game when their keeper saw red but no we shoot ourselves in the foot again the new CB giving the ball away Should Clough have put him straight in the team when he has had so few games or introduced him slowly as substitute until he was up to speed and knew his new team mates ? The game was then effectively over, fine margins and two late goals made the scoreline respectable but it only paints over the cracks of another piss poor performance after we started the game well.
Then he's to blame, if he didn't like his budget he should have said so.
You don't agree to do a job and then throw that excuse out when it all goes south. That's poor management right there.
He's not done that and I don't expect him to do the other either.
Also worth noting that he had no problem saying he wasn't being backed at Derby.
Look at his record before he joined us
He is mr manageonashoestring
If he ever did get us up to the championship we would have to replace him with someone who could take the cub forward
He has been brought in as he fits the boards criteria of being a manager who can work with a limited budget and a squad of limited players
Dont get the impression the players would run through a brick wall for clough do you ?
Think the fans deserve better than this
A well organised team with a bit of pace and commitment could walk this league
