The only thing stopping him being in the prem is that his feet appear to be on the wrong leg. He kicks the ball like he has club-foot and in saying that i am probably doing a disservice to the clubfoot community.

Arguably the best signing in this spell of CW's management.
Cooper had injury problems that some supporters seemed oblivious to,
but happily he appears to have returned to full fitness and is confirming just
how capable he is.

I take my hat off to Cooper for his comeback this season. I thought he was great in 24/25 - one of the best in the division.
Last season, whilst clearly injured, I think there was a strong case to be made that he was the worst keeper in the division. I admit I was arguing in the summer that we should be replacing him, moving him down to no. 2, and letting Davies go.
So seeing Coops back in good form is great, and I was wrong to think we could no longer rely on him as a decent first choice.
TBH I still don’t see him as a Premier League keeper - I don’t think he’s good enough with his feet. But he’s definitely a high quality Championship keeper again. Great news, and could make a big difference to the rest of our season.
