Martin Schroeder is one of the top engineers in his field and he also has a BSc in Architectural Technology. I'd love to see him become head of the department if and when Phil retires.

I've put other but if I really had to choose from that lot I'd go with dyche ( unpopular opinion I know) the football wouldn't be pretty, my burnley mate suggested him to me the other week when I had a rant about wilder, he says dyche puts people in the right position and likes to set up defensively but does like the 3/4 across the front to be free .

If we changed i'd go with Micky Collins and Phil Jones to the end of the season .

They know the players , strengths and weaknesses and were pretty much stuck with the squad for the remainder .

It saves a clear out of coaching staff and gives enough time for the board to look towards a permanent successor and restructure in the summer .

I'd pick Edwards from that list..but feel that our American owners would go for Gerrard on the basis that they've never heard of the others..

I wouldn’t settle on any names yet but I’d be looking around the Dutch or Portuguese leagues for a young coach in in his late 30s early 40s who has shown promise getting a non fashionable side competitive in the top divsion..

But none of it matters if we don’t also get the recruitment structure rebuilt and a proper DOF in as well.

Hypothetical of course.

Off the back of Burnley looking for a new manager, the poll is using those favourites with the bookies for that job.
Hypothetical?
ESSENTIAL FFS
NEVER should have been brought back
WORST judge of young players ever
WORST big money signings record of anyone I can think of
BRAIN DEAD IMBECILIC TACTICS since he returned.
FAVOURITE PLAYER INSANITY
Basically third rate journeyman manager who favours third rate journeymen (EXPENSIVE!) players over youth
ALWAYS HAS ALWAYS WILL
Terrifying to hear him talking about getting contracts sorted out for next year for his favourite shite before the game
AYEW Choudhury etc
We must have the ******* slowest team in the country when Seriki Donovan Peck and a few others are not playing

As for the list
We should be looking at the list for Wendy
(HOW the **** is it OK to sack him building a team from nothing working from scratch
scoring 5 and 7
and keep this boring brain dead bigoted gobshite imbecile year after year getting worse and worse?)
We are skint like them - Burnley have Parachute payments.
And owners who actually OWN the club FFS

MAIN THING is are we serious about Cat 1 and a manager developing young players rather than the endless 30 plusses
favoured by the imbecile?
If we WANT to develop YOUNG players
WE MUST have a manager that WANTS to develop young players
eg Sherwood and Rob Page have always stated that and there are others

I think there is a medium path
Wilder has totally ****** the club
We need to turn it round now
and a good manager like Dyche can
and that money that success brings
(ie TV game against Arsenal to start rather than being totally outplayed by Fleetwood FFS)
is essential to build - YOU NEED TO RETAIN QUALITY TO BUILD (such as Brooks not sell for a quarter of their value)
particularly with us being the WORST selling club in the league
(Ohare 7.5 million the exception - THE BEST sale in my years surpassing Birchenall and Sabella as the only two fees I was happy with)
But it does not mean that a top youth developer can be a key component in the team of staff that join with him
but I have no idea who he is close too as a specialist in that area
Would have thought most good managers know Rob Page for example with him traveling the country mostly at high levels looking for young and then full squad 'Welsh' players
Remember - first and youth teams with first team potential NEVER play at the same time or often day as years ago

Carlos Corberan. Has a good record with clubs in a variety of scenarios at this level. Knows the league and the players and the area, but is also going to be open to and have awareness of players overseas and leagues. But mixed on style of football would a be a question. But good match by match tactician.

No forinners. A pensioner though, perhaps? Preferably one with most of his own teeth, an 'attack, atack, attack' mentality and a mischevious sense of humour

Anyone but Gerrard. Dull football, completely lacking in any sort of charisma, a generally all round shoddy human.
I can’t remember ever despising a Blades manager irrespective of results and performances, if we get Gerrard it would be a first for me. Horrible wanker.

"Plymouth Argyle manager Tom Cleverley has apologised for his side's "unacceptable" performance in their 3-0 loss at Stevenage on Tuesday."
Not in the best form.
But building something worthwhile and heading in the right direction with an entertaining young side. There will always be bumps in the road in that situation but the overall direction of travel is what counts. It would be good to have a manager who has yet to reach their ceiling rather than one who is clearly declining from theirs.

You thought Brooks was worth £32 million? Wilder is bigoted? There's rants then there's this.

Not in the best form.
I'm not sure managers should be judged on individual results, or even a run of bad form.
