Hi Blades, just putting in my twice-yearly appearance round here.

We’re resurgent and in form, expectations are rising, no game midweek, while you lot seem in a bit of a dark place looking through the board.

Can’t see past a flat performance and a deflating 0-1 away win personally

How is Soumare doing?

Dark Place - this is us when we’re ecstatic 🤩 .

Wilders’ presser had some good bits in it, but the bit about luck was concerning. Yes we all know that you don’t always get what you deserve (good or bad) in football, that’s just the way it is! But every man and his dog can see that the 4-4-2 isn’t working. We don’t have the players for it and we are getting over run in midfield!
I don’t want to keep going on about this as a sound like a stuck record. But please, for love of god, don’t send the boys out in that formation again today!
I think we’ll see 5-3-2 which I’m fine with so long as Donovan is up top with Bamford ⚔️

We have to go with the set up that we played vs Wolves, it’s about the only time we have looked organised as a team this season.

It will be keep it tight, frustrate them, look to get a hard earned point. Not sure how we score though using that set up should we fall behind.

Also not sure what we do on the hour mark when we have to look to the bench

Cooper
Tanganga McGuinness Kitching
??????? Peck Phillips Arblaster McCallum
Donovan
Bamford

I don't think there can be any arguments with that at all

It's just who to start RWB - and I'd probably favour Shackleton
I think its confirmed Choudry starts , have to see if its RWB or alongside peck and Phillips

It's so pathetic that we're so conditioned to not even consider Doherty for a start here

That there are a number of players who it goes without saying can't be expected to play 2 games in 5 days, or whatever

It would solve quite the problem now if Seriki's cover was able to perform the job he's well paid to do

It's absolutely laughable, and embarrassing for the players in question

Except that I think CW said Hamza and BBD will start 😒

Doherty isn't very good. He's slow as fuck and isn't the answer unless the question is Who has the turning circle of a cruise ship and is also considerably slower than one?

He's up there with Rothwell, Jairo and Brereton Diaz in the why the fuck are we wasting money on clowns like this?

I'm anticipating a return to the Wolves line up. But we'll end up being more porous than we were in that game.

Possibly another tight defeat, but we won't keep a clean sheet for as long as we did last Sunday.

That answer could be 1 of many from our squad
