The only problem with this is the stranglehold that Bettis seems to have over this club and owners. He's been around a long time now under different ownership and problems like poor or slow recruitment and player contracts have been ever present regardless of who owns the club, what division we're in or who is the manager. The lack of foresight with recruiting managers is as much down to him as he seems to approach it as it's safer to go back to what you know that actually seek out something different. If Rosen is to be believed regarding incoming investment, then hopefully they would be more savvy in football matters than Rosen and co. Any sizeable investor would want to have a say in the direction of the club, starting with the manager.
He is a glorified accountant and not a football man but he's convinced everyone who pays him that he knows his arse from his elbow. We need to get rid of him as much as anyone else as we have made the same mistakes over and over whilst that farcical yes man has been involved in the running of this football club.
It would not surprise me one bit if they sacked Wilder and Bettis tried to hire Hecky as "interim" manager until the summer, while they look to recruit a new manager, but end up sticking with Hecky if we don't get relegated. Different season. Same old mistakes. Same old shit.
