Time for a complete change of direction,...Hecky's available
Id take hecky over wilder. At least hecky brings youths through and gives them a chance. Wilder doesn't play any youths and only signs dinosaurs. Please tell me one big money signing that wilder has got right? Tom cannon can't even score In an open net yet we paid 10 million plus for him 🤣

He has a top 10 budget for wages and he's pissed it away on old mates , old lags , journeymen.
Course he had a feckin choice.
Lots of shit choices he made.
Each one feckin useless.
Rothwell, Phillips and Riedeweld over Soumare.

New contract to Campbell.

BBD in on loan.

Choudhury in on loan.

It's hardly the action of an elite level sporting programme is it?

There's potentially a couple of £millon on wages on 6 players who won't be here next season...

All starting to add up.

personally i think wilder has 3 games to save his job 1 will go saturday stoke will beat us and ive a suspicion the next united manager could already be at the club as a massive chris wilder fan first time round i find it a little sad to see the chris wilder 10 years later hes a busted flush i know hes had the rug pulled from under him by these american clowns but his tactics slow sideways backwards or hoof is just not acceptable and wont be accepted by a fanbase that is rapidly turning against him as always utb ftp ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Whole lot needs gutting. Players, manager, hierarchy, coaches and backroom staff. Championship club being run like a Sunday league outfit.

Transfer list consisting of 30 year old ex-Prem players Wilder would have a drink with down the pub. Probably still want Joe Worrall in Jan. Being a scout at the club must be easier than owning a takeaway by Jairo and Campbell.

Get rid of Bettis & co get some actual football people in.

Trust me.... to scuttle off down the tunnel when we lose or play shit yet first in the camera when we win all never him the big fucking baby as usual what we blaming this week seagulls blackpool tower in keepers eyeline fuck off you dinosaur got rid for a reason & sticking around like a bad smell

we will never go forward while looking back to this idiot had a few years and lived off it watford and boro what happened only in a job because hes a blade pick from any thousands of blades whats the difference

got an ego driven cunt in charge that wont walk after getting another stupid contract few months be sacked and paid off again signs been there for ever since he came back yet we will live off a play off final costing us the rest absolutely pathetic way he acts as a manager and always never his fault

only a few days we got the performative trust me for the cameras lose against wolves we blame every other thing bar shit tactics be the same excuses after this

get the fucking ego ravaged muppet gone but but but hes a blade its wilder best gaffer we ever had do me a favour thats why we regress not progress relying on a one trick pony is a recipe for disaster winning games but still playing rotten isnt progress its piss poor teams your beating in process absolutely no better or worse than last season

So frustrated by Campbell. He's so slow to react, when he does get the ball hes ponderous and eventually just loses it out of play or gives possession back.
He doesn't sprint or make any attempt to press in earnest. Honestly just baffled we gave him a contract extension.

As for RND, well, he's been incredibly poor. Had his pocket picked all night and his man had the measure of him time and time again. He's just not up to scratch and hasn't been for a long time. Get in some young hardworking talent in that position cos playing him and Doherty was suicide. Turning circles of the Titanic.
Said it before campbells a lazy player, and certainly not a team player.

Yep thrown the players under the bus on radio 5!

Just go Wilder

At least the beer was good value on the way, highlight of the match.

Chopping and changing from a 3 at back to 4 doesn’t help , but it’s clear that we need 3 in the middle to even get a foothold in games
, get a solid base consistently and we will be in games - or do as tonight with a 2 in middle against a division 4 team and have zero control

It was poor as hell but it wasn't Boro away!!
Ipswich away yes, however Boro away, Campbell should have put us 1 up first half and McCallum should have equal used in extra time. Selles wasn't supported, didn't even get the coach he wanted, certainly he was out of his depth but are we any better off with the negativity that we are seeing on the pitch. Just look at the stats, Wolves deserved to win on Sunday and Fleetwood too. Where are we going under this management from owners to football personnel?

I think your thoughts could well be proved right. There have been matches with our previous managers when you get the feeling that their time is up, Robson, Blackwell, Adkins and others and whilst they might stay around for a few games more, the inevitable happens and they are shown the door.
Whilst tonight's game wasn't a really important game and the team selection will be very different on Saturday, the defeat is embarrassing and has cost the club the chance of much needed revenue.
I also think the same as you and another 2 or 3 bad results will see Wilder replaced. Whilst he has had a lack of support this season from the owners, his chosen way to deal with the situation has been stubborn, inflexible and shown a complete lack of imagination.
It could well be that Phil Jones is promoted to caretaker manager and if things improve is given the job full time.
I made a light hearted remark about Heckinbottom earlier in this thread, but if Jones didn't work out I wouldn't be surprised at Bettis advising our owners to bring him back bearing in mind the financial situation at the club.

He has a top 10 budget when he's had his 3 best players sold from under his nose and had nothing in return regarding reinvestment and Mark my words when the jtw comes along expect more to leave like Peck, Sereki, Burrows etc. He's been told that he can only bring in freebies and loans and we ain't an attractive prospect and i don't expect us to be an attractive prospect anytime soon under this ownership.

Wilder basically saying he knows who he can trust and who he can't.
He keeps saying this but what exactly does it mean? He signed all of the starting 11 bar Tanganga and McGuinness (RND and Arblaster youths but he’s brought the latter through) yet our problem is we have no plan or coherent attacking strategy apart from hit Cannon in the channel or play for second balls.

If he doesn’t trust the players he’s signed why did he fucking sign them?

Seriki, Burrows, Chong, Bamford, Kitchen and Peck all missing tonight making it a scratch side. None of their replacements did anything to enhance their chances of progressing to the first team after that shambles of a performance that left us all totally embarrassed and angry.

Sorry forgot to add McCallum and Choudrey to that list.

Good honest players, couldn't trust them last season but this season he can. That soon went belly up.

Piss poor.

“Attichood…culture…we know what we’re doing, we can coach a 3 or a 4…”

I didn’t see much of that last night, and I thought last night WAS an important game, because we could’ve built on some promising green shoots from the Wolves game.

As 10p said earlier, I wouldn’t mind Sydie as captain. At least he’s got some bollocks about him.

That’s the budget. We’ve lost £20m PL money this season. Those sales were pinned on regardless.
