And to continue your point, the division/game is getting increasingly athletic/physical and in 5 of the last 6 transfer windows we've failed to address that. That is unacceptable. He’s had five of the last six transfer windows and has pretty much built a squad of his own choosing. That we’re bringing 11 knives to a gun fight is essentially entirely his fault.
Did he actually touch the ball after coming on?shudder
Maybe the only reason we signed him after releasing him was because it looked like the Phillips loan wasn't happening at the time.Depends what your definition of crap is really. I never got him, think he's slow of thought and deed, is constantly looking sideways, offers no protection to the back four and today showed that he's added lazy and knackered after 15 minutes to his repertoire because he was fucking diabolical.
Any elite level sporting programme I've been a part of has minimum levels of athletic performance. Drop below it and you're off. That’s what I find so so pathetic tbh - tired players , goodness sake , season is 5 league games old - what a really lame , shite excuse
He was shite against BirminghamThat's the first proper crap game I have seen from Jairo.
Agree with your reply.Losing O’Hare was an unexpected outcome so late. I get this.
But then we only had one number 10 anyway and it was obvious Gus would be off. So what would happen if Cal was injured or tired? Figure it out later?
We’re playing 4-4-2 because we’re hoping against hope that Cannon can justify his selection again. We should have bet over backward to sell Cannon for Stoke’s 5m and a bit. We may even have kept O’Hare. Notwithstanding that o’Hare was a bit help to the midfield and as neither Cannon nor Campbell drop deep to help out that puts more pressure on the midfield two which does the same then to the defence.
I like Chris but he’s been a slower learner these past two games. 30 shots conceded playing 4-4-2 at Cardiff. Outplayed most of the second half against Bolton. So did we really need a negative result against Norwich to acknowledge it doesn’t work for this team?
4-3-3 and if you need to go two two up top you fashion a 5-3-2. Otherwise 4-4-2 for last minute chasing when you know your midfield could be exposed. It don’t have it exposed from kick off.
He had a choice when Cal left and he lost the 4-2-3-1; go solid to 4-3-3 or go more open to 4-4-2. He chose the wrong one. Don’t be pig headed and stick with it.
Thing is we are in catch 22, if he was anyone else wed be wanting his head on a plate due to the football played and previously played in the other season we got 90 points (he gets a decent pass due to us winning games).I've got Wilder fatigue personally.
Boring football by largely boring players, no structure, a chronic lack of pace, out muscled too often, predictable boring recruitment, unbalanced squad, despite prolonged fitness issues continuing to sign players with fitness issues.
Kitching, Doherty, Choudhury, Riedewald, Philips, Donovan, BBD.
And we're reliant on a 19 year old kid showing up every week.
But you'll concede you do have the choice?I'll do what I want thanks bud![]()
Why was he playing at all?Why was Choudhury playing at right back?
Not unless I like wasting 500 quid noBut you'll concede you do have the choice?
We don't have one, that why we bought ChoudhuryYeah, but what about our reserve right back.
It's ridiculous that everyone can see this except Wilder. He's so unbelievably stubborn and it will end up in a relegation fight because he always knows better. And to continue your point, the division/game is getting increasingly athletic/physical and in 5 of the last 6 transfer windows we've failed to address that.
It feels like he's built a team to win the 2019 Championship.
Add to the slow/undersized/no physicality midfield a front line of a 30somehting who runs like he's running for a bus carrying a set of gold clubs, another who must eat a three course roast dinner at half time and a third who looks like a rabbit in the headlights any time he gets on the pitch...

Were you entertained last season? Judging on previous posts I'd suggest not. But you still bought a ST. Like I said, don't attend the games if you're not entertained. That's your choice. Not unless I like wasting 500 quid no
I don't think expecting to be entertained is too much to ask for what is generally seen as an entertainment product - do you?
I think you’re struggling to understand what a decades long commitment to a team means to some of us. Here’s a clue. We can and do still go to matches but as paying customers we have every right to comment on what we’re watching. And it certainly wouldn’t make us bigger Blades to sit there clapping like seals when what we’re watching is shit.We

And who's suggested that? A statement was made saying you've no option but to go if you've got a ST. That's a bullshit statement clearly. I've watched United home and away for 50 years but thanks for your assessment that I don't know what it means to be a committed Unitedite. No bigger blades bollocks from me. I think you'll agree it's okay to challenge any statement that's clearly nonsense. Or isn't that allowed in your idea of a forum?I think you’re struggling to understand what a decades long commitment to a team means to some of us. Here’s a clue. I'm really failing to understand what you can't grasp about wanting to watch your football club having paid for a season ticket? We

I've absolutely no problem with you or anyone else wanting to be entertained. The quality on show at the moment is poor, no doubt. Your posting history shows you weren't entertained last season. Knowing that the owners were skint and players would be sold to cover parachute payments did you believe the quality and entertainment would be better this season? We all want the best for this club but plenty of ST holders around us are clearly voting with their feet. If you're that fed up with what's on offer find something else to do like they have. I've no axe to grind here but the idea that having a season ticket means you're somehow duty bound to attend if you're so disillusioned is nonsense.I'm really failing to understand what you can't grasp about wanting to watch your football club having paid for a season ticket?
I don't go just solely for entertainment, if that was the case I'd go to Man City.
I go to watch my team, in turn I want to be entertained. We pay enough. Don't you think that should be a basic requirement?
A bit of coaching goes a long way. You don't need to spend 10s of millions of pounds for exciting football.I've absolutely no problem with you or anyone else wanting to be entertained. Wouldn't disagree but that wasn't your opening gambit was it?A bit of coaching goes a long way. You don't need to spend 10s of millions of pounds for exciting football.
