Don't think Clough is a liar, I think our boardroom are liars.
If Clough had a certain amount of cash and wanted three players but had to settle for buying two he would have bought his two preferred targets and paid a bit more for each with what he saved on the third player. Anybody with half a brain would have done. It's his job on the line if we fall short.
The board just pulled the rug out from under him when he foolishly believed them and made a couple of enquiries.

Apart from drawing your own conclusion, there's no reason to consider anyone connected with the club lied. If you can show an individual who has intentionally misled anyone then let's see the proof, otherwise these hastily concocted comments do nothing but add to the hysteria that began about last weekend.

There is definately some justification to do.
I'm puzzled how we bid for three and came out with none....really puzzled
