The truth is, given how our owners are failing to do anything but allow
our current decline to continue, is it any wonder that players will jump ship
at the first opportunity? Footballers are aware of what's happening at a club
so why the surprise when they respond positively to an offer that improves
their life?

Until we're in a position to step up and compete with more ambitious clubs
we'll continue to do the unthinkable and sell our best assets. Why does anyone
think we sold Brooks to Bournemouth? Until we become a more attractive
proposition we'll remain a selling club.

Our owners tried that last season and everyone had a massive tantrum about it, so they gave us what we wanted and here we are.

I think it’s a bit soon to be honest, I think a lot of us are in Shell shock at the moment, including Chris, and it will take a couple of weeks for us to settle down as a fan base and indeed players to get up to speed,
People like Hamza and Ollie need a bit of patience for them to get up to speed and indeed I think the team as a whole to get used to playing quite differently now and integrating new people into that system
As such I think our energies will be rightly concentrating on our own…….. for the time being
I won’t be paying any attention to Andre in the upcoming match, things will be different in the return match I think…
