Wilder isn’t exactly blameless, he could use the budget he’s got available more wisely
What budget is that?, he’s had to sit and watch all 3 creative players we had sold and be given no funds to replace them other than frees and loans. I’m far from a Wilder fan boy and initially thought it was a positive forward thinking decision to sack him. But what has happened since then is falls pretty much totally on the doorstep of the yanks if you ask me.

There will have been loan fees involved in BBD and Donovan, as well as whatever signing on fee for Choudry and Doherty

Not saying they'll be massive amounts, mind, but hard to argue that the Doherty deal has been great

We’ve just signed Choudhury presumably on his massive Leicester wages. Wouldn’t that money have been better spent on a creative player?

Even if Wilder gets approved to spend money, I wouldn't get too excited.

Too many clubs are interested in him, and we are currently way down the pecking order with all the news coming out of the club. If they had kept it all under wraps until after the deadline, we'd be a natural move from Barnsley. As it stands, the club looks toxic from the outside, it will be a tough sell to get a talented young player to hitch their career to us. Think he'll end up at Millwall.

I think currently only us or Stoke seem in need of a winger, and they're as basket case as we are

I can understand why Choudhury was brought in given the injury to Seriki though, we definitely needed another option at RB. Would have liked to think we could have signed a creative player too.

Why did we need another RB option
We have Doc, Shackleton, tanganga can move across there and Curtis.
Doc was brought in specifically to fill that position.

We have not had much money but have gone a long way to wasting what we have got and still no striker or wide man

Tanganga is a CB for a start and Shackleton has played 4 matches in 2 years and Curtis has never played at this level, so wouldn’t really be sensible to rely on Doherty

Wilder should get his number two in the dugout tonight to oversee the game to allow him and Bettis to get into a room with a phone to get this mess sorted and make sure we get some adequate replacements even if they are only loans. Get your priorities right. They can’t waste 3 hours whilst the game is being played for crying out loud.

I don't think the board will free up any money for this.

But if they did, you are bang on. Loads of other clubs who are not in a mess are much better placed than us to go to.

Right now you ain't likely to pick us over Millwall or Swansea for instance. I can see Southampton getting him though.

Would be happy with him at the right price, hope we don't overpay though. His numbers are pretty similar to Rak Sakyi's were for Charlton.
