Left footer. Read COV fans said he likes to make line breaking passes, and carry the ball. Is this a left footed Bash? Are we going to 3 at the back?.

Kitching Tanganga Doherty
RND McGuiness Baptiste

With Hamza coming in, I wonder if this is what Wilder is building with Doherty considered RCB.

When I noticed him first he reminded me of Harry Maguire somewhat. He seemed good at taking the ball out from defence. It's great that we e finally got a left footed defender to play CB too.

Get ready for the invasion of fucking know it all telling us he will Never love our club as much as there's and without prompting boasting about how fucking great they are
Only just got rid of them.
I don't think you need to worry about them, now the reality that they will be coming straight back down is hitting home.

I’d like to think this means we aren’t selling O’Hare if no one else is coming in, but knowing our owners we’ll sell him and hope for the best
The owners are not buying snd selling, Bettis and wilder will bed another asset sold and a loan brought in

Re: Kitching. I watch a fair bit of Championship football and couldn't tell you anything about him..

Bobby Thomas always stood out physically at the back for them and I remember their right back being pretty impressive (Van Ejiwk?)... but this lad, I can't remember a thing... on the face of it though, if he did 38 games for Cov last season he must be fairly competent. Seems, as a minimum, to be a reasonable pick-up in the circumstances.

Just be nice to see us try to address the more glaring issues tomorrow.

Maybe he's like the best refs. You don't notice them. It's the ones dropping the clangers you have to watch it for.

This is obviously click bait twitter bollocks. This doesn’t lineup with our recruitment strategy at all:

Under 30 ❌
Not played for us before❌
Hasn’t spent half his career in the treatment room ❌
If it turns out to be true then he must carry a serious level of culture for wilder to have ignored his usual requirements.

He's ideally suited to a team that'll be defending deep. Makes sense when the plan seems to be to cede possession and go long

I just hope if its a loan, we include a buy option in there. Sounds like the kind of player who could absolutely thrive under Wilder.

If we get new owners in by this time next year could be a good option for us to buy, or profit off.

Surprised we'd land on someone that good as a backup backup signing

In reality he'll probably be better than Worrall
A few years younger at least, probably not as experienced as Worrall who has played at a higher level for a few years.

Still really good though, not sure what his contract at Cov is like but hopefully a potential permanent deal is something we might be able to consider next summer if he does well.

Played LCB for Cov too so at least he covers that for us.

I can see loads of negativity the next 24 hours.

That being said, if this is just about done:

Goalkeeper - Cooper looking great, run out last year did Davies no harm.

Defence - A decent mix of 4 defenders at centre half, strong defensively in both full back spots.

Midfield - 5 options blending top flight experienced and youth.

Attack - right wing covered, left wing starter covered. Bamford main pick up top. Possibly one more loan and free to solve for this.

Let’s see how it goes but a different type of player just might be needed up top.

Cannon has two now. It’s the output that will attract bids at least, but it’s a penalty (I know they need to be scored) and a mistake by an inexperienced Blackburn team. Not sure either goal suggests we know how to get the best from him.

Let’s see.
