I doubt that this is in any way credible, but yes please if true.

Pretty good player for Napoli, not sure how he got on at Forest though.

He's yooge

A championship loan would be good for him actually

But would he suit us? We don't have a great crossing supply line and would probably just go all pumpy with him on the pitch, as in pump it forrad high and hard

Imo Chong is another playing out of position. He needs to be playing CAM to get the best out of him. Obviously second fiddle to O'Hare

We need more attacking options, if BBD is the only one we bring in it could spell trouble
While I agree that we could do with some additional attacking options, I'm not sure it would necessarily spell trouble.

If anything, could BBD at LW be that one signing that actually completes our attack, at least from a starting 11 perspective?

Basing this mostly off of that Birmingham game (as the only full match I have seen), but one particular thing that frustrated me a lot in that game was that whenever Bamford played a pass through their defense, no one (mainly Cannon) ran onto it.

Even just running onto 1 of those through balls would have likely resulted in a goal.

Donovan-O'Hare-BBD
----------Bamford

Assuming we play BBD at LW which gets the best out of him as it allows him to cut inside and run onto through balls from the left, we could have Bamford playing passes through the defence for BBD to run onto, and hopefully the same with Donovan on the right as well.

Basically, taking one of those issues from the Birmingham game, and resolving it with the addition of a player we know can play well at LW.

1 of the 3 needs to be a winger or CAM. Can't rely on 4 players (BBD, Chong, O'Hare, Donovan) to fill 3 positions for a full season.
I suppose you’re probably now looking at BBD/Oné Left, Donovan/Chong Right and then you kind of group O’Hare with Campbell, Cannon and Bamford.

This would make more sense if Cannon was leaving and we wanted more of a target man.

But the Cannon noise has died down since his goal.

I think we have quite a few out of contract next summer, unless they have options. Shieber and co should be looking at this as soon as the window shuts.

ChatGPT can’t find any Italian striker/striker in the Italian leagues with these statistics so I’ll file it in “talking absolute poo”
Copilot can....

"The only current Italian footballer who matches your criteria (34 goals in roughly 96 appearances across top leagues) is Riccardo Orsolini of Bologna. His record between February 2023 and February 2026 shows 38 goals in 99 matches, which aligns almost exactly with your requested ratio"

He's valued at >£20m, plays on the right wing and has just extended his contract until 2031 🤣

I think he would want to come though. Bologna is nice with great food. But he fancies some fishcakes and pies.

Not disagreeing that BBD plays on left, my point is that in both league games we created very little and just sticking anyone on the left wing isn’t really going to change that if we go into games with a more cautious approach

Plus if BBD was to get injured you are back to square one

IMO even if we signed 2 or 3 we probably still wouldn’t be that creative based on our league games but at least we have more options

It's almost crazy time for supposed names coming thru the doors. Now we're just getting nationalities, no name. Soon it'll be someone from Earth doing a medical!!!
We’re at the considering stage of the recruitment process
