Awwww come on give the guy/team a chance , improving at the moment , last time out at Swansea was a great game , Bamford and bbd might hit it off , give em a chance !!!

Nobody will be more pleased than me if I'm wiping egg off my face over the next few weeks. I just don't rate Diaz and think he's a player that doesn't improve us all that much.

1st spell at the club he played on the left wing cutting inside and he was great.

2nd spell at the club, Hamer was preferred out on the left, so BBD was put on the right wing, he worked hard and was solid but no where near as threatening.

3rd spell Hamer has gone, we need a left sided attacker because O’Hare isn’t good enough there.
So looks nailed on that BBD will be 1st choice left sided attacker starting most games.

Really pleased because Donovan looks a threat on the right wing but we had nothing from the left wing.
So getting BBD was a priority and makes us much more of a threat going forward…..and of course BBD is still excellent defensively, out of possession.
It's quite remarkable how my mood lifted when I saw the Pete O'Rourke story!

I don't know if others feel the same but I felt a great sense of pressure lifted.

It is such a crucial position and we've got someone who will fit the ethos of the team and put numbers on the board.

Any further activity now is just minor tweaking. It shouldn't impact the overall effectiveness of the matchday XI. At worst we will let players leave who are not crucial or we will end up swapping like for like players at no detriment.

Once BBD moves to the left, O'Hare can play his best role, it brings the best out of Bamford and with Cannon, Campbell and One, we have plenty of cover. If we lose Burrows we can absorb that and an other departures, we seem prepared for.

We just simply couldn't enter the last day with the pressure of filling such a key role with the possibility that fate could conspire against us with a "we tried, but...".

Wilder talks a lot about attitude and team spirit.

He obviously knows and likes BBD and his attitude, and as indicated by the Derby view from, attracting players to the club at the moment could be difficult with the potential of points deductions and ownership struggles, so I have some respect for anyone choosing to come her right now.

The only reason fans aren’t feeling very excited by this signing is that we’ve had him before, but his stats are generally that of that of at least a play-off level forward, with the odd season as a truly top level championship striker. If he was someone new with similar stats there would much more buzz about it.

I think wilder is at his best wheeling and dealing with scraps and bringing the best / finding good fits out of previously average players.

I think we’ll end up mid table this season, maybe scrape play offs if we don’t get a points deduction, and flirt with relegation if we do, but I don’t think we’ve done too bad business under very difficult circumstances. If we get lucky with injuries we could end up being comfortably in the play offs.

Anyway, never mind all that, Mrs Bladeaway is Chilean and she’s over the moon!

Kudos to him. He obviously knows of the potential EFL penalties.
But he signed for us regardless. He's been here before and wanted to come.
Hopefully that sends a positive signal to others.
Are you listening Souttar?

Cou
Knew you'd be fapping we signed him again. Hope you're doing well Coddy (I assume it's you). Fwiw I think he'll be great this season especially where we're at at the minute.
Course it's me numb nuts! Bobby or Dan?! Ooh aah Bob Bookaah! Miss ya either way.

Glad to have him back we desperately needed a wide forward and he gives us another option aside from Bamford/One to actually play long balls into.

Also worth mentioning that since Hamer has gone he can now play on the left rather than shoehorning him in on the right

What squad number will he take?

His first spell he had #11 (Donovan)
His 2nd spell he had #20 (Ukaki)

He usually wears #22 for Chile (available)

I think he'll take #8 which will put me about. Phillips should have taken that

As I said yesterday on a thread,we are clapping hands for mediocrity . He didn’t do it last time and he’s not done it since for anyone. “He gets it” is the most stupidist statement I’ve ever heard coming from this absolute bollocks of a club.

Thing is with BBD we know what we are getting, and whilst some believe he’s mediocre I don’t think anyone really has the opinion that he’s completely useless, and if we take a risk on someone and they end up being a Louis Barry sort of player who’s absolutely useless then we’re in trouble. It’s a safe move 100% and I’m actually really happy with it. The comments from the derby fans are good, he obviously clicked when he got match sharpness up.

Get a centre half and an emergency right back cover in and I think we’ve got a half decent squad that should hopefully not be looking over its shoulder

Think he will be really good for us this season he could have gone to 2 other places but came here. Scores some cracking goals.
