Top signing
Top finisher playing on the last man
Top player in a front two with another striker on the last man eg Campbell or Bamford

To be wasted out of position as a left sided midfielder by the imbecile
as Hamer OHare and Marsh already this season.
Like them he could not tackle a rice pudding
particularly on the left.
No support ever for the left wing back be it McCallum or Burrows
AND THEY BOTH NEED IT

Thank God its him in not Joe Worrell
A player ripped apart by the movement and pace of Traore
in the scratch team of Heckys first game away in the Prem at Forest.

This shit formation of 2 -2- 2 (plus either -3-1 or -2-2)
with be a shocker with Tanganga and Worrell as the back 2
let alone if Rothwell is in front
and we persist with this inverted 'wingers' disaster.
Donovan should/could have cost us the game at Blackburn out of position and asleep on 5 minutes
before nearly opening the scoring on 10 minutes
breaking down the left!
As can be seen on the highlights if you did not watch live.

MK2 Wilder got 92 points avd was sacked so petsonally I'd say better than meh?

Had Arblaster and Souttar not got injured too I think we'd have pipped Burnley to second.

Performances were very Meh and those two didn't stay fit so ultimately we failed, as per.

So, with three days to go and having made circa £9m on player sales and nothing from the chimps in the board room that suggests 'the football club' is in any danger and with us needing significant reinforcement in many areas ... all we have are loanees and cheapies.

Where's the ambition, guys? BBD? Really? First loan spell ... mmmmmokay ... no massive trees lifted and second loan spell ... pretty uninspiring.

Get your thumbs out of your arseholes guys. Relegation is still a possibility.

What do you think our budget is?
How much should be spent in your opinion?

8 goals and provided 3 assists in 41 total appearances during his loan spell with Derby which isn't bad going

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c4g496wljnwo

This quote in the article is promising too "With Brereton Diaz's absence, Derby will lose someone who possesses a lot of energy, and has an incredible work rate, pressing continuously throughout the 90 minutes" (he missed the game because they were playing Southampton)

As long as CW plays BBD on the LW which is his best position well see the best of him. Good solid hard worker.

1st spell at the club he played on the left wing cutting inside and he was great.

2nd spell at the club, Hamer was preferred out on the left, so BBD was put on the right wing, he worked hard and was solid but no where near as threatening.

3rd spell Hamer has gone, we need a left sided attacker because O’Hare isn’t good enough there.
So looks nailed on that BBD will be 1st choice left sided attacker starting most games.

Really pleased because Donovan looks a threat on the right wing but we had nothing from the left wing.
So getting BBD was a priority and makes us much more of a threat going forward…..and of course BBD is still excellent defensively, out of possession.

Agreed it Actually speaks quite well of his play last season they derby were really keen to sign him again.

CW has said as much in his presser (regarding BBD on the left).
Hoorah!

Wilder talks a lot about attitude and team spirit.

He obviously knows and likes BBD and his attitude, and as indicated by the Derby view from, attracting players to the club at the moment could be difficult with the potential of points deductions and ownership struggles, so I have some respect for anyone choosing to come her right now.

The only reason fans aren’t feeling very excited by this signing is that we’ve had him before, but his stats are generally that of that of at least a play-off level forward, with the odd season as a truly top level championship striker. If he was someone new with similar stats there would much more buzz about it.

I think wilder is at his best wheeling and dealing with scraps and bringing the best / finding good fits out of previously average players.

I think we’ll end up mid table this season, maybe scrape play offs if we don’t get a points deduction, and flirt with relegation if we do, but I don’t think we’ve done too bad business under very difficult circumstances. If we get lucky with injuries we could end up being comfortably in the play offs.

Anyway, never mind all that, Mrs Bladeaway is Chilean and she’s over the moon!

Think we will finish 5/6 th

Not really sure BBD is a left winger either. I think he might be more useful down the middle as back up to Bamford. Hopefully still a 'Gus type' player to come in on loan for the left
To me he is just a squad player rather than a starter. If he is on the subs bench he might be useful to bring on as he can play on the left or as a striker alongside Bamford or even Cannon. He also is someone who will track back

I am however not that impressed if Wilder decides that he is the man to be the player we need to rely on for the left

If he us to start I think it should be as a second striker

We still need a recognised left side midfielder but I don’t think that will happen

Average player signed by what's fast becoming an average manager to play in a very average team. Very underwhelming.

UTBFTP 👊👊👊
Awwww come on give the guy/team a chance , improving at the moment , last time out at Swansea was a great game , Bamford and bbd might hit it off , give em a chance !!!
