If the short term thinking gets us promoted this season?Just all very short term thinking. Do we need Webster & Worrall?
Exactly the type of signings Wilder would have made last summer to improve a 90 points side. Instead....If the short term thinking gets us promoted this season?![]()

Worrall and Webster is a potentially excellent pairing
Problem is that Worrall is under contract to Burnley so unless they are prepared to loan him - they’d want a fee.I dunno mate.
He's probably injured, not that it would stop us from signing him as that seems to be the United way of late.
This is exactly what I've been thinking, and alluded to in the 7 days to go thread. Also with the fact that Wilder's also positioned himself by saying there's matchdays so that means transfer business effectively doesn't happen thenStill have this feeling we'll lose a couple and not sign anyone...the clubs position will be that it did everything but it was a difficult market and targets went elsewhere or didn't want to drop down to the Championship.
Would rather stick with McGuinness than Worrall.i think if these 2 come in mcguinness goes out we dont need 5 centre backs if were going with a back 4 plus rnd and mcallum could play lcb imo
i think of the 2 webster looks the better option imo if we went to a back 3 mcguinness would be fine as the central of the 3 but im not convinced hes good enough at this level in a back 4 and it wouldnt suprise me if watfords alleged interest in mcguinness is genuine and if they make a serious bid i think wilder will let him go and bring both webster and worrall inWould rather stick with McGuinness than Worrall.
Webster is probably worth the risk because he could improve us.
Worrall cannot get near a side in the same Division, infact they go out and sign one of our ex-players rather than play him.
To play musical statues?Worrall and Webster is a potentially excellent pairing
Hes a FA. Can sign him at any time. Worrall needs doing before the deadlineWhat's happened to Webster?
What's happened to Webster?
Agreed. Good pairing with McGuinness and Baptiste back ups. Doherty and McCallum to fill in too if we start getting desperate injury-wise.I'd be pretty happy with this. I think Tanganga & Worrall would be a very decent first choice CB pair.
Forgot about Webster! If he comes. But actually most importantly, we're moving towards a starting XI with given names: Mike; Matt, Joe, Adam, Sam; Joe, Oli; Ben, Cal, Tom; Pat.
We're close to assuming the Brexit Blades final form.
