Anything negative press storywise is, in my opinion, coming from United World to try and upset the fan base and force the hand of our owners to pay what he believes is owed. I was a supporter of the prince, but this campaign he’s running to destabilise the club is rotten.

Seeing as how a Winding Up Order has just been issued unchallenged I suspect I might have been on to something.
 
Could we not buy him, change his name to Anel Smith, and refuse to pay?

And yes it’s depressing.

Think of the players who we’ve had and let go or sold in the last few years. Sad times for the Blades.
 
Right guys I think at this point we have to accept we are totally fucked and the only way we are going with the present owners is down … if not this season then next …

Forget Soutarr, forget Anel in fact anyone commanding a fee other than possibly a minimal loan fee.

Expect any decent bid to be accepted for any player…

Peck, JT, Burrows, Femi could all be off by the end of the window

In the current circumstances with owners who seem hell-bent on dragging the club into the mire, I think we all need to be grateful that Wilder is still our manager.
Regardless of whether you think he’s the right man to take us forward longer term, surely most of us can agree that we need at least one person at the club who has the best interests of the Blades at heart.
As for transfers, I’m guessing that any player / agent with any other choices at all will be giving us a very wide berth.

Until today's hearing I was exactly the same as you on the Prince. But right now it's difficult to be positive on the existing board, and it appears that money owed hasn't been paid which leaves the club in a precarious position.

I would have preferred the Prince not go public like he has on the points deduction stuff but post yesterdays case I think even if the Prince had said nothing publicly the reputation of 1919/the club would have been severely damaged and punishments of some kind mentioned by the likes of various media outlets regardless.

Whats depressing about that is Berge went from Belgium to us to Burnley to Fulham and possibly somewhere else and we are the only ones to have conspired to make a loss on him.
 
Fee for us might only have been 2m due to instalments still due.

But he also would likely become highest wage.

I can't see Souttar now at all.

At best some random loan at CB and LM. Or a free.
 
I think Wilder will be more frustrated about the players we're not signing than anything else. Ultimately he can only control what goes off on the pitch & at the moment he's got his hands tied.

Hey , I think Wilder should play what we've bought , especially when we are borassic.
This is one transfer window when we're justified in saying "we go with what we've got".
No player with a choice of destination is coming to the Lane.
 
If Souttar deal is dead why not get Anel, smaller fee (potentially) and wants to come back ,according to earlier post
