Aye.
Zatterstrom, Chong and Ben Mee really got the feeling good factor going.
Chong isnt a bad player. He played in the World Cup.

So did all the Iraq players.
Which ones of those would you take?
He’s every bit as much as culpable as the rest of them, their all in the shit together. This isn't on Wilder whatsoever - this is on the 'we haven't got a clue owners' . Wilder would have clearly given his list over weeks ago but these Yanks haven't the appetite anymore. Without being totally blunt about it Chris has said as much as he can in the last 5 interviews.
And given it's like this anyone who thinks there is a better man than Wilder for the job 'at the moment' is on cloud cuckoo.
He is completely holding it altogether, a new manager coming into this shit show wouldn't last 2 minutes.
but but Selles.....It’s almost like depending on the same clique of limited experience and skill will deliver the same results time after time.
We risk change though, who knows what will happen if we try something different.
The one with the beardSo did all the Iraq players.

I would hope this window puts and end to the scapegoating of Selles. Who was sold up the creek without a paddle or a canoe, but it looks like they’ve decided the board is the new scapegoat.but but Selles.....

Until United have someone capable of smashing this culture bollocks CW harps on about ALL THE TIMEHow many is that in a row now?
Closer to the level of Preston and Cardiff now than the big boys at this level, and closer to the likes of Chesterfield than the rest of them in how we operate when it comes to transfers.
Even Donny have a better method than us as they use a data based and then man based method of filtering players who to bring in. I assume we just use the back of a fag packet.
Less than 2 weeks of the transfer window, we have a player Wilder openly said he wanted rid of as our starting centre back, no left winger, an inexperienced right winger and an ineffective injury prone one to supplement him, no creative spark and about 5 of the same midfielder. Pair that with the fact we have a 10m dud upfront that the manager just won't bench, and I really do fear the worst for this season. Deduction or not.
Utterly pathetic, and it's going to catch up with us eventually. So why not this year?
1. Selles didn’t get the same grace.THERES MORE MELTS AT BRAMALL LANE THAN IN THE POLAR ICE CAPS 6 pre season games unbeaten 2 meaningful games into ths season, 5 clean sheets only conceded 3 in 8
games against a german 2nd tier side and a la liga regular Levante,, wheres the logic in calling it pathetic
we romped home v rotherham who drew with derby same week, we will definitely never see us win a thing as we are infested with pessemists
we could beat arsenal 7-1 and theyd moan about conceding one
45 games to go lets show some support, Id hate to be a player listening to the venom coming from the seats, must be soul destroying
I didn’t say only we sell our best players.Rodri
Guimares
Tonali
Kane
Isak
Ronaldo
Gi oer wi self pity, every club loses its best players
very little sunshine , but the coh sports duop only been here 2 years,, but the yanks who tookover brum made bucket loads of mistakes on taking over, saxcking a manager and ptting in Rooney , got relegated first season as theyt didnt have a Wilder,,1. Selles didn’t get the same grace.
2. It’s not one game, it’s 42 after last season.
3. Very little of the vitriol is being aimed at the players, beyond Cannon and maybe Chong, it’s been aimed at the club (CEO, Manager, recruitment, contracts) not being able to get their shit together AGAIN. For the 6th year in a row.
If you think it’s all sunshine and roses your welcome to start a happy clappers thread and congratulate the team on not conceding a goal and all the sponsorship deals we’ve signed.
Absolutely spot on.Until United have someone capable of smashing this culture bollocks CW harps on about ALL THE TIME
along with this jobs for the boys ie, Jamie Hoyland head of recruitment? How many clubs were headhunting him when he left Everton we will always be viewed like that sketch by monty python The Yorkshire businessman
As predicted by quite a few sensible posters who don't have their heads up Wilder's arse. How many is that in a row now?

But why should we be any differentI didn’t say only we sell our best players.
Wasnt just me that heard that .. 1st game og the season tells me same old same old.. we really do need a complete overhaul. We have a cracking academy time for it to prove itd worthWilder, the recruitment team, coaches and owners should not have had a summer break so this debacle could have been sorted out. Wilder said it would not be a repeat of last season, this season
Anyone wanting to bet against it?
Agree with 90% of this but right now no way are there 3 worse squads than ours. He does need 3 quality signings. The way it’s going I can see Robbo back and that’s our lot. That being the case it’s going to be dull and down.More than anything, it is just really fucking boring. Predictable and boring
I knew these owners were clowns as soon as they signed Cannon (and it was all them)
They thought we were going up. Quick easy profit. But I could have told them Leeds and Burnley were better and we are famously hopeless in the play offs. All the due diligence you'd expect, and yet they couldn't even do that
It's been obvious ever since that they regret it, and have no plan, no strategy. It's reflected perfectly in our transfer windows
Wilder is the only thing holding it together, which is why I didn't want him sacked to begin with. That has now become even more true
Part of the reason he's back is to protect the owners. They know he owes them, and doesn't hold the cards he once did. He's now a loyal, grateful employee who'll do their bidding - like pretending he rates Cannon. But there are limits. His frustration will show if this window ends like this. Hopefully that puts pressure on the clowns to sell, rather than get him sacked again
We have enough to survive comfortably but it might be incredibly dull
Robinson would strengthen usAgree with 90% of this but right now no way are there 3 worse squads than ours. He does need 3 quality signings. The way it’s going I can see Robbo back and that’s our lot. That being the case it’s going to be dull and down.
